Navamsa, soul and Supersoul

Dear Gurus and Members,

 

 

I just started Jyotish and acquired some learning material, however

I cannot resist studying my own chart because of important life

decisions ahead of me, so please forgive me for asking a more

advanced question.

 

I am listening to Pandit Sanjay Rath ji's lecture on Navamsa given

at 2004 West Coast Conference. There he talks about how to see if

there is the power in the native to achieve what he is born for,

and he says there should be a connection between Navamsa lagna and

Atma Karaka. He also states that communication between atma and

Paramatma is seen from relationship between Atmakaraka and Ista

devata(Ista devata meaning in this context a planet or the lord of

the 9th from Karakamsa)

 

Then he discuses example of Mahatma Gandhi who has Jupiter as AK in

the Navamsa Lagna and Dharma Devata is the Sun, being the lord of

the 9th in D-9.

Sun is aspecting Jupiter, so Paramatma(Sun) is related to atma

(Jupiter). And also Navamsa lagna and Karakamsa are the same,

Jupiter being in the first.

 

In my case (July 30th 1972, 4.26AM or official 4.30AM, Lon 16E02 Lat

45N49) there is no connection that I can see between Mercury(Visnu),

my Paramatma planet, and my AK Rahu, but Mercury aspects Navamsa

lagna(if the time of birth is taken to be 4.26AM), which again may

be irrelevant. (I don't know if I understood Sanjay correctly about

relationship of Navamsa Lagna and Atmakaraka.)

 

However, my Moon(Krsna) aspects Rahu(atmakaraka) in Navamsa. I have

taken diksa in Gaudiya Vaisnava Parampara having gotten 7 mantras

for Visnu tattva. We consider Krsna to be above Visnu, and also to

be Paramatma of Krsna-devotee. I also have Moon in 9th in Rasi as

the lagnes, and we know D-9 is zooming of Dharma Bhava. Sanjay was

talking about worshiping Dharmadevata who will come to us if we

chant his mantra, especially during the ruling dasa. I am now in

Mercury dasa and during this dasa it happened that I had

realizations that Krsna was responding very strongly to my chanting

of the name, which maybe could be seen from Moon-Rahu connection in

Navamsa.

 

The questions are:

Is there any Atma-Paramatma connection in my Navamsa chart?

What is meant by relationship of Navamsa Lagna and Atma karaka?

 

If the Lord of 9th in D-9 from AK is aspecting Navamsa lagna or

rules Navamsa Lagna(as in my case if the time is taken to be

4.26AM), could that be an example of Navamsa Lagna and Atmakataka

connection?
