Dear Visti,

I am aware of badhkesh in 12th functioning like VRY and removing all obstacles.

Which are the other good placements for badhkesh? I am Leo lagna and my Mars is

in 11H.

Dear Mukund, Namaskar

Haven’t you heard of Nirankara Narayan?

Yes i mean just look at the degrees. The one with the higher degree is the more dominant deity.

Be clear on one thing when we talk of badhaka... when the badhakesha is badly

placed, then it will cause badhaka... If instead the badhakesh is well placed,

then it has the power to remove ALL obstacles.

So for Taurus and Leo Lagna’s their yogakaraka is a true blessing if it is

propperly placed, and can pave the way to success.

Best wishes,

Dear Vistiji,Thanks for your reply. When you say that when in doubt look at the

degrees of the planets involved, do you mean mearly look at the degrees? I

remember once when I had a similar doubt you based your conclusion on the

relationship of the planets with the lord of the rasi. Which principle must be

used? Also, for persons with Simha lagna, mars becomes yoga karaka as he owns a

quadrant and a trine, namely scorpio (4th from Leo) and Aries (9th from Leo).

But according to COVA, for a fixed rasi as in this case Leo, the 9th lord is

Badhaka. Then Mars becomes both yoga karaka planet and Bhadaka. Please

explain. What do you mean by Nirankara Narayana? What mantra should I ask the

The badhaga 9th lord become badhaga

for leo the 9th lord become mars (Aries)

Which happens to be the own house of Mars.

If mars posited in the 9th place it will overrule its badhaga nature and bless the diety.

Can we

assume this works for all baadhaks if they are in their own houses, i.e., Venus

in Libra for an Aquarius lagna?

Dear Visti,

I am giving below some of the points that I read in Sanjayji's write up:

1. Malefic planets in 12th from Badhakesh attract wrath of deity. Malefic planet

will indicate the reason.

2. Badhkesh with malefic association placed in lagna will show wrath due to breaking an idol.

3. Badhakesh in 4th would indicate temple being left in bad/broken condition.

4. In 2nd 11th, it indicates misappropriation of temple funds.

The article goes further, asking the reader to extend the logic to other houses.

I am assuming that all the above is conditional to Badhkesh being associated

with Malefic.

I assume your earlier mail was not about wrath or curses and meant to discuss

only the obstacles and I am still not clear which placement apart from 12th

could be good placement for Badhkesh. Are other dusthanas good placements for

badhakesh?
