Dear Paul & Lakshmiji,

 

A NeuroFibroma - Its a Benign Tumor that arises from Nerves. Its a

Painless slow growing, & usually when affected area is felt, Electric

Shock like Pain called Tinel Sign is felt.

 

it can be very nicely compared to 2 Ayurvedic Diseases - Vishvachi &

Avabahuka. But usually a tumor is "Arbuda".

 

In Ayurveda the Diagnostic text "Madhava Nidhana" states-)

 

"Siraschakuncha tatrastho janayed Avabahukam"

 

meaning - The Aggravated Vata Dosha contracts the Sira at

Asampradesha i.e at the shoulder joint. The person finds it difficult

to lift his arm & radiating Pain at shoulder joint.

 

For Vishvachi -) Here there is radiating pain to the whole arm &

palmar aponeuroses.

 

Both the Above are Caused due to the main Dosha i.e "Vata Dosha/Wind".

 

Medical Astrology Stand Point -)

 

As the Sthana/Location of Vishvachi & Apabahuka is Arms. The 3rd

House is considered. As "Vata Dosha" is the vitiating factor, Saturn

is Considered.

 

In the Given Chart, the rising Cancer, the 3rd House is Virgo/Kany.

Basically Kanya Rasi is Predominant with Vata Dosha. This Vata Dosha

is further vitiated by the 3rd Aspect/Full Aspect of a Vata Dosha

Planet i.e Saturn. More over placement of a Tri-dosha Planet Mercury.

 

During Rahu Dasa & Saturn Bhukthi the Problem would have started &

might be relief When the Saturn Bhukthi Ends.

 

Interestingly the native is also running Kanya Rasi Narayana Dasa

till 2011.
