Dear Ajay,

Namaskar

I will

start with the steps of anlayzing the prasna. Sourav had a good mail too.

Firstly, i

must correct your methodology. Does it seem reasonable to draw a prasna chart

to answer a prasna and then later ask someone else to answer it? Its like

taking going for an exam and asking the person next to you to answer it –

it doesn’t work like that.

Atleast

show us that you have analyzed the prasna so that you are trying to answer the

query, then we can correct your analysis knowing that it is a sincere

prasna-chart. Otherwise we can only assume that you have drawn the chart just

for the sake of drawing it.

So based on

the above understanding, i would discard your prasna chart, and instead draw my

own.

Secondly, only

one astrologer should analyze the prasna, whilst others can comment on this. Otherwise

you can have a group of people and they all draw different prasna charts... whose

will be acurate? A prasna chart is a chart drawn to ask God for a an answer to

ones querries. Be sincere when you approach God.

Now there

are some simple steps we can take to make sure our prasna is correct to answer.

Prepare the

natal chart and prasna chart for analysis. Follow these following steps

initially.

font-family:"Bookman Old Style"">The prasna-navamsa lagna, should match

the natal-rasi lagna. If so then the query can be answered, otherwise don’t

answer, instead wait some time, do your guru mantra, and then try to

answer again by drawing a new prasna chart.

font-family:"Bookman Old Style"">The prasna-rasi lagna should be devoid of

tamasic planets (mars, saturn, rahu and ketu) to indicate the sincerity of

the questioner. If saturn is in the prasna-rasi lagna, then the questioner

could be holding back information or lying... usually because they are

ashamed. Here karaka is also important... if the question is about illness

and longevity then Saturn in lagna is perfectly fine, as the query is about

longevity and death.

font-family:"Bookman Old Style"">The prasna-rasi seventh house shows how

the questioner will use the knowledge you give them. Avoid tamasic

planets, but again keep in mind the karaka of the querry... if the

question is about war or battle, and mars is in the seventh house, then

the person will offcourse use the knowledge for battle.

After the

three above steps, you’ve almost completed the entire analysis. You

should then apply specific principles about the type of prasna, i.e. for Chowra

(theft) prasna, apply the rules to see (1) what has been stolen (2) whether the

native, a person in the house or someone else has stolen it (3) where the

article(s) have been kept. I recommend Prasna Marga and Krishneeyam. Also Shatpancasika

(By Prithuyasas) is a very easy book to read about Prasna.

We have

three Prasna charts (yours, Sourav’s and mine), so please provide the

natal chart of the native so we can choose which prasna to rely on, and progress

further in our analysis.

Best

wishes,

Dear Visti-ji,

Namaskar. Much thanks for this elaborate information

and teaching. I am using Prasna for the first time actually. I am

interested to see how it comes out. I agree and understand why we

shouldn't draw too many prasna charts. The first chart drawn (with

faith) should give all the indications that Lord wishes to give. The

analysis can be done in group, the the faith of the first astrologer

is very very important.

Much thanks,

Sourav

Dear Ajay-ji,

Namaskar. I sent a reply a couple of hours ago but it

seems it hasn't reached its proper destination. Hence, I am

repeating this e-mail. Kindly give some life facts to verify the

natal data. Is birth time exactly at 4:00:00 a.m. on the dot? It

seems to be a bit surprising.

Regards,

Sourav

dear visti ji

Hare Krishna.

i have one question regarding prashna kundali.

if one want to do a prashna regarding our life or someone in family

asked a question but at that time cud't make a chart say in car or

outside. should we note the time and then make a prashna because the

question entered the manas at that time or shud we take the current

time when we r making the chart of the query.

this can also be applied to internet queries. does the astrologer

take the current time for prashna or shud he ask the querist to tell

the time when the question came to his mind.

Regards.

Dear

Madhu, Namaskar

A Prasna

chart is not drawn at the time of the question, but at the time when the

astrologer wants an answer.

At that

moment when the astrologer seeks an answer, he will approach God, and the time

when he approaches God is the time for the prasna.

Sometimes i

wait days before i wanto answer a prasna, and yet the prasna comes true.

Best

wishes,

dear visti ji

Hare Krishna.

i have one question regarding prashna kundali.

if one want to do a prashna regarding our life or

someone in family

asked a question but at that time cud't make a

chart say in car or

outside. should we note the time and then make a

prashna because the

question entered the manas at that time or shud we

take the current

time when we r making the chart of the query.

this can also be applied to internet queries. does

the astrologer

take the current time for prashna or shud he ask

the querist to tell

the time when the question came to his mind.

Regards.

Dear Ajay,

Namaskar

I looked at

all three prasna charts. I decided to go with mine.

Prasna Chart

April 25, 2005

Time:

12:58:20 pm

Time

Zone: 2:00:00 (East of GMT)

Place:

12 E 25' 00", 55 N 46' 00"

Hareskov, Denmark

Reason is

that the seventh house in the prasna navamsa is stronger, and the trines to it

is taurus – the natives natal lagna.

|confirming

the theft|

Harihara

states that if Saturn is in the seventh, eighth or twelfth, then there is Chora

Prasna. This is the case as we have Cancer lagna in the prasna rasi, with

Saturn in the twelfth in Gemini.

Now; the

scriptures all agree that if; the prasna lagna is in a fixed signs/navamsa or

is vargottama, then the thief is a person from the household. Cancer rasi,

pisces navamsa does not show this, hence this woman has not stolen the money,

nor has the husband nor any possible children, guests or servants in the house.

Because the

lagna is a movable one, it should be inferred that the thief is already far

away.

Now lets

look at the chora-graha. Find the planets in watery navamsa’s: In this

case Sun, Rahu and Mercury are placed in watery navamsas.

Then see if

these planets are in kendra or sixth house from Lagna, Moon and Arudha: All

three are so placed.

If more

qualify, find the stronger: Sun is exalted and strongest.

If the

second or eleventh houses associate with this planet, then the wealth is stolen:

Venus is lord of eleventh houses, whilst Sun is lord of second house, and they

are joined.

The avastha

of the chora graha (sun) will indicate the relation of the person who has

stolen it. Since the Sun is in exalted rasi and friendly navamsa, it means some

rich man has the money, or someone who is a friend.

The Sun is

in a kendra from lagna, and will indicate the direction of the article as being

in the eastern direction.

|return of

money|

They will

get their money back if the karaka is strongly associated with the lagna. Jupiter

is dhana karaka and doesn’t aspect the lagna, lagnesha nor the moon, nor

is there any strong association. It is very unlikely that the money will be

returned.

Eleventh lord

shows when the gain of objective takes place, and here Venus is the eleventh

lord in the tenth house, this promises some sort of gain of obective. Venus

rules a paksha (fortnight), and is in the sixth navamsa, so within 6 pakshas (3

months), there will be some relief.

The only

auspicious aspect of the chart, is that the lagnesha is involved in a full-moon

combination. This means that some light will come on the subject of the theft.

Moon is lagnesh, so its likely that this woman knows the thief.

The amsa

passed by the lagna will tell us how long back the event happened. Moon

indicates one day, and the lagna is in the ninth navamsa, so the event would

have happened nine days back, i.e. the 16th of April.

The arudha

is supposed to show the place of the wealth right now. Since the questioner has

not given us an arudha, we shall rely on the arudha lagna. AL is in Libra which

indicates a bazaar or

market place.

Whilst i

cannot see how the wealth will return, there will be some relief in three

months time.

Best

wishes,

Dear Sourav

Namaskar

Sorry for late response. As far as timings issue, this is the time

given to me by the native.

I have been discussing this native for quite a long time now with

gurudev Visti ji. She has been going through a turmoil in her marrige

life. She has give the birth to a girl child on 31st of March 2005 at

1:47 pm New Delhi. The child was pre mature and under weight.

See if this can help in correcting the time. I will try and find out

other events in her life.

Dear Visti,

The analysis is very good.I have a question about what you have

written about Saturn.I recently did a prasna where I was asked about someone

returning.I got Cancer lagna with Saturn in the 12th house. However here there

is no connection to any kind of theft. What else will Saturn indicate here? Just

7th lord in 12th house?

Best Regards,

Kanupriya.-"Visti Larsen" To:

Dear Ajay, Namaskar

I looked at all three prasna charts. I decided to go with mine.

Prasna Chart

Time Zone: 2:00:00 (East of GMT)

Reason is that the seventh house in the prasna navamsa is stronger, and the

means some rich man has the money, or someone who is a friend.

The Sun is in a kendra from lagna, and will indicate the direction of the

article as being in the eastern direction.

|return of money|

They will get their money back if the karaka is strongly associated with the

lagna. Jupiter is dhana karaka and doesn’t aspect the lagna, lagnesha nor

the moon, nor is there any strong association. It is very unlikely that the

money will be returned.

Eleventh lord shows when the gain of objective takes place, and here Venus is

the eleventh lord in the tenth house, this promises some sort of gain of

obective. Venus rules a paksha (fortnight), and is in the sixth navamsa, so

within 6 pakshas (3 months), there will be some relief.

The only auspicious aspect of the chart, is that the lagnesha is involved in a

full-moon combination. This means that some light will come on the subject of

the theft. Moon is lagnesh, so its likely that this woman knows the thief.

The amsa passed by the lagna will tell us how long back the event happened. Moon

indicates one day, and the lagna is in the ninth navamsa, so the event would

have happened nine days back, i.e. the 16th of April.

The arudha is supposed to show the place of the wealth right now. Since the

questioner has not given us an arudha, we shall rely on the arudha lagna. AL is

in Libra which indicates a bazaar or market place.

Whilst i cannot see how the wealth will return, there will be some relief in three months time.

Best wishes,

Dear Gurudev,

Pranaam,

Execllent understanding and clarity

I will take little more time to absorb this and get back to you with

detailed comment.

In the mean time

Here are few more insight on prasana which I gathered from the

native, along with few questions.

1. Money use to be in almirah for a quite long time and it was hidden

in way that nobody should be able to see.

2. Almirah used to be locked all the time and only three people knew

about it native herself, her husband and, husband's niece.

3. Her husband told her that he has seen money last 7-8 day back.

Which take us to the date around 16th or 17th, which is Saturday, and

sunday.

4. Native use to be out whole day while her husband stayed at home on

those days.

5. There is time when husband's niece was alone in the house during

that week. She is in company of bad boys who use to demand money from

her quite often.

6. Husband is also in habit of over spending. He has extra marital

affairs where he use to spend lot of money.

7. Now as you say Sun and Venus represent the chora, can we relate

this to her natal chart where Sun is in UL representing husband?

8. Sun in 10th house shows South Direction can we take this to the

direction of the chora? Reason for this is during that week her

husband's sister visited their house for few days. She lives in South

of Delhi. And She is not well off and constant need of money.

9. Do you see role of husband niece or husband's sister?
