He is anxious that it sells because his son starts college in the fall and he only has enough cash for 1/2 the first year. His father-in-law (2nd marriage) offered to help a year and a half ago but hasn't mentioned the offer since. Please help me with the counting. Is one's business seen as A10? The selling of the business would be 12th from A10 (his loss, buyer's gain) and, if a profit is earned, it would be 11th from A10? His UL is in Aries, so second wife is seen from Scorpio (8 from UL). Her father would be 9th from 2nd UL. Do we ever use arudhas for other people (like finding the A9 from the second wife's lagna)? Lastly, which dasa is best for this kind of timing? I show that in his rasi chart he has a Capricorn Lagna (7-37) with a Taurus AL and A7 in Virgo. His birth data is December 14, 1950; 10:23 am EST +5; Cleveland, OH, USA 81W42, 41N30. With Cap lagna, the A7 aspects the eleventh house from arudha lagna, showing the promise of gaining from business. The second lord from upapada is venus placed in the twelfth house in rasi and third house in navamsa, hence the break in the first relationship. The next marriage is seen from Scorpio, and Jupiter is well placed in Rasi and Navamsa. The ninth from Scorpio is Cancer, whose lord is aspecting the vyayapada and twelfth from arudha lagna, showing the need to spend on children from the second marriage. Venus is having rasi dristi on the eleventh from AL in rasi and hence the opportunity for gains is there during Venus antara. He was married in 8/75 and his wife left him 12/79. I am curious about the distinction between the 7th house and the UL to understand marriages. From his 7th house Venus, Mars, Moon, and Rahu are all in maranakarakasthana. font-family:"Eras Medium ITC";color:#666699">Wil font-family:"Eras Medium ITC";color:#666699">l these reflect on all his marriages and businesses or just the first? Does the UL explain the image of the 1st wife and 1st marriage whereas the 7th house shows the reality? Would we then look at 2UL (Scorpio) and 8th from 7th house (Aquarius) to see image of 2nd wife and reality of 2nd marriage? I’m trying to understand his marriages through the narayana dasa. His first marriage was Virgo (A7)/Aries (UL) with UL in 8th from A7 – can’t be good. Break-up was Leo/Cancer – because the dasa count starts from the 7th for Leo, we read that period with Aquarius as the lagna (am I correct on this?) Here is Cancer again with all the maranakarakasthana planets, and Aquarius is 8th from Cancer, the natal 7th house. Can you see why they were married (were they pressured by his parents?) and what broke them up (ego and finances I think are right)? His 2nd marriage was 8/85 during Leo (read Aqu)/Scorpio (the marriage is still good after 20 years). Aquarius is 8th from 7th so 2nd marriage? And Scorpio is 8 from UL so image of second wife (yikes!) and marriage. Ketu is stronger than Mars so Ketu would represent 2nd wife and marriage? You said that Venus represents the in-laws – what about for subsequent marriages?
