Jupiter in the 3rd house, Mars in the 7th, Saturn in the natal star, Rahu in the 9th house, the Moon in the 8th, the Sun in the 12th, Mercury in the 7th and Venus in an inimical house are each of them (Maranastthana) or death occasioners. ================================ [i also consider Mercury to me in Marana Kaaraka Sthaana in the 4th ] Planets in MKS are not a determining factor in the breaking of relationships. Per above, Saturn is not in the Marana Kaaraka Sthaana (MKS) in any other house except the 1st. Now -- you are considering a variation to Saturn in Marana Kaaraka Sthaana in the 7th. If this is so, please give reasoning? I have some reservations on this. Sustenance of alliances: If you are in agreement that the 2nd House represents sustenance, then consider the 2nd from a said house of alliance to be that revealing the sustenance of the relationship. >From the sustenance being the 2nd House, this is also considered a Maaraka. Gauna / Vyaya / Upa Pada: In the chart below, one notices the UL (A12) and the AL together in the 10th House. When these 2 Arudhas come together, the native has to learn to balance and compromise in relationships. From what I gather, only 1 Arudha will rise – so either it will be the image of the person, or that of the institute of marriage. I'm sorry I did not communicate clearly and in details in my last email. I am attaching the details of the chart I am looking at below. I do believe that 2nd house affects the sustenance of a house. Here we are refering to the 8th house (2nd FROM 7th). I believe that planets in MKS do spoil the significations of the houses they own. Sa (7th lord) is in MKS in lagna and Ma is in MKS in Navamsa. Even though Ma is in its own house. I believe it will still spoil the significations of the 7th house. WHat are your views on this? In the 2004 tajaka chart there is an exchange of 1st and 7th/8th lords and 7th/8th lord Sa in in MKS. In the 2005 tajaka chart Ma is in MKS in own house (7th house).
