Here is the chart of a person who has had problems (mental) since birth

(attached also).

Natal Chart

January 5,

1978

Time: 22:50:00

Time Zone: 3:00:00 (East of GMT)

Place: 36 E 49' 00",

1 S 17' 00"

Retrograde Saturn in Lagna isn't going to let go easily. There is

also papakartari/bandhana on Lagna which is horrible, and no benefics

aspect Lagna. He was doing well, however, until the death of his

father in August 2004.

Debilitated, retrograde, bhadakesh Mars is lord of the 9th. Mars is

in the 12th. Both Venus and Jupiter (8th lord) are afflicted by the

nodes.

His father was a drunkard, and a burden on the family, always causing

trouble. However, his death seems to have triggered something

within the native. Since then he has become very afraid, refusing

to so things like cross the road etc (which he was fine with before), and

is behaving strangely in general.

Given that Mercury Mahadasa is running currently, the first thing I would

advise is worship of the Ista Devata with "Om Namo

Naraayanaya". (Choosing Saturn instead of Rahu because Saturn is in

Lagna - hope this is appropriate) However my feeling is that something

more is required here.

Could the learned members suggest anything in addition to this to help

relieve the suffering of this person?

PLease note the parivartana exchnge of 9th lord,Mars

and Moon in 4th house...

Rahu now in pisces aspects Moon.Rahu is in Merc sign.

and will give effect of obessions,anxiety and fears,etc.

ONLY the names of the supreme Lord can remove all fear.Narayana

kavacha. Yes, Om Narayana Namah, Om Vishnave Namah.

Can he worship his Isthadevata?He is in period of AK Mahadasa.

Perhaps some anti depressant/anti anxiety may help, looks like the

condition can continue,

watch him carefully as Saturn comes in cancer.

sthana with a papakartari yoga is causing his medical disability. Mars involved

in the marana karaka sthana and being ninth lord confirms the problems occuring

after the loss of father.

We are

reckomending a Surya Mantra for the Lagna; Om Hram Ghrini Suryaaya Namah –

108 times daily.

The

Narayana Astakshari is also a very good mantra for this purpose.

Thanks. I will convey this to him immediately.

Just after I posted that message I got the birth time of this person's

sister (attached). This week (or last) she was sacked from her job

as a teacher - and is going through quite a bad period also. It's

interesting that she too has Saturn in Lagna. I don't think she has

any chronic illness - but she can be quite odd and unpredictable

behaviour-wise.

I'm not sure which planet represents her Ista Devata, as the AK lords the

12th from AK! Presumably we take either Sun or Saturn?

Interesting also that Jupiter is retrograde.

Any suggestions for remedial measures for her would also be

appreciated.

obviously rectified the navamsa lagna to ensure that it wasn’t joined

karakamsa. I think the navamsa lagna in Aries is acurate – Saturns debilitation

will not allow Jupiter to give the auspicious effects of birth in a royal

family, and Mars the dispositor is also ill placed in marana karaka sthana.

Ishta

Devata is Shiva no doubt. Tell her to do the Ishaana Shadakshari (Om Namah

Shivaaya) The Dasamsa Lagna could depend on a few factors. Did she loose her

job due to money matters, or because of differences with her boss? I’m

opting for Sagittarius D10 lagna.

I would like your comments on my insanity with Saturn + Ketu in

Capricorn lagna

and Mar + Rahu in 7th house, marana karka sthana and all bad stuff etc...

You had been gracious to answer my question in the past about having

astrological student signatures. (You had stated moon as AK in 8th as being

key), and may have have my birth data. Regardless it is 10/24/62 13:37 Delhi.

Feel free to comment sice I think myself to be fuctionally insane, and may be

able to handle your honest opinions.

I'm not sure regarding the job - I think it was due to disagreements with

the employer, but I'll have to check.

I notice, however, that changing the D-10 to Sagittarius lagna changes

the D-12 to give Aquarius Lagna, which results in the 6th and 8th lords

in the 9th house along with AK Jupiter. I think this fits the bill

better than Pisces lagna. So Sagittarius D-10 lagna is most likely

correct.

I will pass on the advice regarding the Ista Devata.

Regarding the mantra you gave for her brother, is "Hram"

pronounced "Hraam"?

seen your chart before and noted that combination, but you don’t have

anything to worry about. The point is that Saturn must be in maranakaraka

sthana, and this happens in the Lagna – but if he is lagna lord he will

not damage the lagna, and instead the person maybe abit slow in learning and

weak health, when younger. This is overcome with time though and the person

becomes quite strong and able.

You have

another problem though with badhakesh being joined the lagna and the other

badhakesh being in the seventh house. This causes trouble from spirits and also

alot of jealousy from others. Seeing ghosts is not an uncommon feature in your

life.

yuddha between Saturn and Ketu (that's if the nodes can be involved in

this) - and I was not sure what the results would be. Could you

shed some light on what we might expect in such a case?

It is accurate about the health and slow learning during childhood.

About the bhadakesh causing jealousy, it is quite probable, but i have no way to find out

However I have not seen a ghost or spirit yet, but I lived with a demon for a long time.

I have seen your chart before and noted that combination, but you don’t have

anything to worry about. The point is that Saturn must be in maranakaraka

sthana, and this happens in the Lagna – but if he is lagna lord he will not

damage the lagna, and instead the person maybe abit slow in learning and weak

health, when younger. This is overcome with time though and the person becomes

quite strong and able.

You have another problem though with badhakesh being joined the lagna and the

other badhakesh being in the seventh house. This causes trouble from spirits

and also alot of jealousy from others. Seeing ghosts is not an uncommon feature

in your life.

karakamsa. I think the navamsa lagna in Aries is acurate Saturns debilitation

will not allow Jupiter to give the auspicious effects of birth in a royal

family, and Mars the dispositor is also ill placed in marana karaka sthana.
