significance of vastu in astrology?

Dear VistiJi and other learned members,

I was wondering how much influence vastu has on the native's life.. I

have read a few articles on this subject- basically I think it deals

with the synchronization of the person with the earth's magnetic

field. Feng shui in china has the same underlying principles-

placement of objects around you. A lot has been written by our rishis

on this subject.

The question that popped in my mind is: What if the horoscope of a

person is very good but the vastu of the place is bad or if the place

is jinxed... would all the good yogas in the horoscope become

powerless?.

Putting it another way.. a better question will be- can astrology

predict that the place of the native will have bad vastu? - maybe 4th

house or bhoomi karka - mars afflicted. any yogas which may show that

place is bad or good.

Also I read somewhere that fate depends upon the place where the

person is currently living?.

please shed some light on the above topic. If there are any good

articles on the connection between astrology and vastu..please let

me know.

Kind regards

Hari

Dear Hari Namaste

I far as I know in Jyotish we see Dasha of a Graha/Rahi(which can not

be changed) and in Vastu we see Disha of a Vastu(which can be

changed). Thats is why many consider Vastu as more practical than

Jyotish. 100% 'Vastu oriented' Vastu will give 25% results. This is

known as VastuBal. 100% 'good' kundali will give 25% effects. This is

known as Kundali bal. 25% bal will be for our Vansha and SwaKarma each.

In Vastu every Disha is associated with Rashi and Dishapati. Every

Disha will have Dishapalak and Disha Color. Using these and other

parameters we can apply Jyotish with the Vastu. For example Poorva

Dishapati is Surya and Rashi associated are Mesha and Vrishabha. So if

Surya is badly afflicted or Mesha/Vrishabha are afflicted then many a

times we can infer that eastern direction of a Vastu may have some

problems. Like if there is a water tank(Jalatatwa) in the Poorva disha

which will be opposite to Agnitatwa of Surya. This should harm his

reputation. Likewise we can corelate Vastu and Jyotish. Now since

Poorva Disha Palak is Indra and Disha Color is white we can use this

information to suggest suitable remedy.

Thanks a lot for your Time and Sapce.

Dear

Hari, Namaskar

Based on my

understanding of the Kaala Chakra, i believe Vastu shows/reflects the flow of

Pranas in ones life.

Usually

when an evil dasa comes, the person surrounds themselves with Bad Vastu, whilst

in an auspicious dasa, the person surrounds themself with good vastu.

Suresh

Chandra did some good work on this, and there were lots of discussions about

this on the East Coast in 2003.

In my

upcoming book i have given a few examples of how to spot bad vastu in a chart,

generally its seen from the time of a major move or change of residence and the

planets in the 9th and 11th houses (6th and 8th

from 4th house).

More

later...

Dear

Friends,

Namaste. Prabodh has

touched the right spot. It is very

much possible to relate birth chart

with vastu. To add: Mars & Saturn

have a special significance in Vastu.

Signs and Elements have more

importance in Feng-shui. Colour

therapy is dominated by SUN;

Accupressure by SUN and Houses and

Nakshatras while in Accupuncture

Mars & Saturn also play role. Not that

other factors do not play their role,

these are special significators. One

thing more : bad vastu does not

always involve change of residence,

rather more often it does

not.

Radhe Krishna.

Yes, that's what I wanted to be clear about. We usually see the chart

of a person and predict almost all the apsects of that person's life

and this includes the house matters and place, type of residence. My

original question was more like: what came first egg or chicken? -

i.e - whether bad vastu is already indicated in the chart or is it

the the other way round - bad vastu is responsible for bad times?.

Dear Prabodh Vekhandeji,

Namaskar,

Thanks for the kind reply and glad to have conversation with you. I

recently started watching programme vedic upchaar on care TV- saw you

for the first time on the program with SanjayJi - dispelling many

myths surrounding astrology.

Coming to the topic of this post, you mentioned that vastubal has 25%

share, kundlibal 25%, 25% bal will be for our Vansha and SwaKarma

each- making 100%

My question is: Is it not that all the 3 factors viz. vastu, vansha,

swaKarma are all parts of a good kundli/horoscope?- can we not see

swaKarma or efforts put in by the person, his family and type of

residence from the kundli itself. Also, when we do remedies for the

9th lord, are we not increasing our vansha bal... when we do remedies

for afflicted 4th lord or mars- are we not improving our vastu

indirectly?.

I am trying to understand and see all these factors in a cohesive and

interrelated manner. please let me know if there are any good

references in this regard.

looking forward to your views.

Kind regards

Hari

Dear Hari Namaste

I am really honored to be along with Sanjayji on the CARE Tv show. I

am really thankful to Sanjayji for this opportunity.

Now coming to Vastu and Jyotish, the 25% division is from the

prospective of Vastu consultant. Jyotish will always try to see all in

Kundali. Lets take an example that a kundali reveals that the native

will have very big house and will have all things in his house. The

person indeed may have a big haveli. What about Aanand/bliss from the

house? That will be decided the Vastu of the house. Now one may argue

that we can predict from the kundali that the native will not have

'comfortable' house. But the problem is that when the same native

moves to 'suitable' house everything becomes ok! We are not taking

into consideration the effects of transits. It may happen with

everyone in all kinds of Vastu.

Outof the 4 elements the Vastubal can be changed 100% by changing the

disha of the Vastu and other remedies. Other bal can not be increased

to 100%. By doing remedies for 9th house or by good transits for 9th

house we may enjoy little increment but not 100% permanant solution.

So performing remedies for Vastu will yield best results. That is why

many advocate regular pooja and VastuShanti vidhan in house.

Thanks a lot for your Time and Sapce.

Dear Hari,

Namaskar

The evil Dasa

causes your mind or others mind(s) to make wrong decissions, and makes you or

others change the vastu of the home/office.

The vastu

change is but a nimitta for the karma which is indicated by the chart.

Correction

of Vastu is a remedy in itself.

Best

wishes,

Re: [Om Krishna Guru]

significance of vastu in astrology?

Dear Vistiji,

Namaste,

Thanks for the kind reply.

>>Based on my understanding of the Kaala

Chakra, i believe Vastu

shows/reflects the flow of Pranas in ones life.

>>Usually when an evil dasa comes, the

person surrounds themselves

with Bad Vastu, whilst in an auspicious dasa, the

person surrounds

themself with good vastu.

Yes, that's what I wanted to be clear about. We

usually see the chart

of a person and predict almost all the apsects of

that person's life

and this includes the house matters and place,

type of residence. My

original question was more like: what came first

egg or chicken? -

i.e - whether bad vastu is already indicated in

the chart or is it

the the other way round - bad vastu is responsible

for bad times?.

>>Suresh Chandra did some good work on this,

and there were lots of

discussions about this on the East Coast in 2003.

please give the reference to any published

articles/books by him or

some online content.

>>In my upcoming book i have given a few

examples of how to spot bad

vastu in a chart, generally its seen from the time

of a major move or

change of residence and the planets in the 9th and

11th houses (6th

and 8th from 4th house).

let me know about the book, when it is completed.

>>More later...

Kind regards

Hari
