In other words, there is no other dharma or worldly purpose for this lifetime other than the progress towards moksha. So all worldly activities and events will be towards this purpose. That is, moksha, or at least the progress towards it, IS the dharma/purpose of the lifetime. Susan

So the dharma itself is the movement towards moksha? What about a case in which Ishta Devata and Dharma Devata are the same, and this planet is also conjunct the Palana Devata planet? How does this configuration effect both the dharma and the material path in life, and its relationship to moksha? Susan

Its an excellent scenario. Now someone will probably ask me about the involvement of Bhratri Karaka (Guru Devata) as well. Well then the same deity will open the third eye of the individual and teach the native about spirituality.
