I am forwarding a post of mine to the VA list here which contains certain baby

steps in analysis and might be useful for the beginners. This is the wife's

chart. I will forward the husband's chart next after I get a feedback from her.

Here is my take based on your horoscope only (I haven't yet seen your husband's

chart): Kalatra Karaka Venus is in Marana karaka Sthana, combust and under a

secondary curse because of the affliction by Sun and Saturn. Venus is also the

lord of your 2nd and current Upapada, Taurus. Seventh lord and Därakäraka

Saturn is debilitated and in badhak sthana. Your primary curse is on Jupiter

and the Moon, having the graha drstis of Saturn, Mars and Rahu. Since Jupiter

is the greatest natural benefic, the affliction on Jupiter will be considered

as the primary curse. As Jupiter is also the 8th lord and the dispositor of AK

Mercury, the curse is complete. Jupiter is in the 1st UL in Marana karaka

Sthana; you must have suffered a lot during that first relationship. Correctly,

this event occurred in Jupiter Vimshottari and during Jupiter Mula Dasha. We are

taking Mula Dasha as you have so many curses. The first UL was a very nice

person, but there was no chance that the relationship could have survived. Your

2nd UL as I pointed out earlier is Taurus, with its lord Venus afflicted. You

married during Venus Mula Dasha and Saturn Vimshottari. The Venus Mula Dasha

are followed by Saturn and Sun Mula Dashas, both planets afflicting Venus. The

Saturn Mula Dasha commenced in 1999, as it is the principle malefic involved

in all the curses in your chart and will last till 2009. Saturn was transiting

over your Arudha Lagna in Gemini from 2002 to 2004. Incidentally, Gemini is

also the 2nd house from the current UL, which is seen for sustenance of

marriage. The house is afflicted by Saturn, Mars and Rahu. Mars has both graha

and rashi drsti on the 2nd from UL and is the badhakesh as well. The graha

drsti of the malefics show your intense desire to dissolve the marriage, but

for a permanent solution one requires rashi drsti, which is given only by

badhakesh Mars. Keep in mind that Jupiter has rashi drsti on the 7th house and

the UL. However, there is only graha drsti on the 2nd from UL. What does your

father feel about your husband? If your navamsha is correct, then there is an

indication for 2nd marriage, with the second lord Saturn in the seventh house.

 

You have AK Mercury having rashi drsti on the 11th house. This is one of the

important combinations for learning jyotish. Mercury in the fifth adds to that.

Actually I had a very strong affair ard the age of 16 yrs. It almost lasted for

3 yrs but later we broke up as my parents were against it. I went into so much

depression that I even tried to commit suicide. This suicide attempt was a

failure and I had to undergo surgery and miss 1 yr in college due to it.I am

not egoistic but very helping and adjusting person, I hate hyprocites. I am

very pure by heart. But very blunt in speaking, what is in my heart is on my

lips and this sometimes does cause problems, as people think I am very blunt

and outspoken.My father did not have any major problem during my Sat dasa. But

ard the age of 7 yrs (not very sure), our family had met with a car accident

and in that my father hurt his back and since then he has slip disc problems.

So health is not so good overall. Morever he suffers from diabetes and is

slightly over weight. Both my parents are very famous doctors and well placed

and well known in society.I hope I have answered all your questions. I am also

learning astrology. Pls let me know if I can pursue this as a career. Explain

all the things that you see in my horoscope, so that I can also learn these

things from you. Why did u ask if we had a love marriage and other details.But

from the side of my husband, I was his first love and so he was dead bent on

marrying me. Before marrying him I had told him abt my past relationship and he

had accepted that gracefully.Do you see a second marriage in my horoscope? I

know for sure if I reconciale for now, I will take this step again aft few yrs

because he does not give me any feeling of security or emotional bonding. >From
