Guest guest
Hi Dear Wendy, I responded to this post right away - and after finding out that my responses were not reaching the list, tried again from . That one posted but without my response included, just your original post, the one below... all strange ey. Seems to be fine now.. Mainly what I wanted to say and had written is that you are quite right with respect to the 3rd house and I wanted to thank you for the reference to Light on Life too and even the exact page! Apologies for any confusion with what I'd written regarding 3rd house. Originally I had only hoped to offer a chart for suicide with a good birth time, although the daughter versus the person himself, as you mentioned earlier they can be difficult charts to obtain due to the sensitivity perhaps of the subject. I can get his birth date and place, but no time. This kind of took on a life of its own once I gave the information that it was a more personal chart. My thoughts on giving that being I could give more exact information regarding the suicide if there was interest. And I was impressed with your thoughts expressed earlier that the third house being the house of initiative, as well as Mars, perhaps being involved. This though clearly only with respect to the role of initiative, nothing further as far a suicides absolutely... See how easy it is to start some incorrect line of thinking - apologies. Thanks for clarifying this exactly with your post ;-) Best wishes, Patrice notify [notify] On Behalf Of patricecurry Tuesday, May 09, 2006 12:09 PM patricecurry Fwd: Re: Re: Factors for Suicide? jyotish-vidya, "Wendy Vasicek" <jyotish wrote: Dear Patrice and Uttara, Please don't take 3rd house as an indicator for suicide per se...this is not so! Guest guest
Dear Patrice and Wendy, I too, have had problems with email not being delivered that I have written. Four times I have written or attempted to respond to your email below Wendy. I have no idea if any of them arrived in your private mailbox Wendy vs. not showing up on Jyotish-Vidya. Patrice, seems like was having another glitch problem. It can be frustrating. Too, I have found that if I respond from the I do not have a record of what I have written and them attempted to send. So, it makes it all the more difficult. When I respond from my mail at least I have a copy of what I have written so if it doesn't go through I can forward it. I am in agreement with the third hse as you and Wendy. Basically, what I was attempting to answer on this subject was that when I was going over the charts of your mother and then her transit chart for May 16th 1939, I was focusing more on the transit chart rather the Rasi. So, in reality, Although the 3rd house does not show suicide per say, it does become an important house to review for psychological health and desire of a person. Also, studying from the Rasi the 10th hse of father is important. I on the other hand focused more on the Transit chart as a Rasi chart in and of it self. It really shows how one can be completely off or not dead on an accurate picture if one does not review all the facts. When I was looking at the Nakshatra as being Swati for a later time frame for suicide, I was again focusing on the character of the nakshatra and how it conjoined in degree to the full house of Aries/Ma. Being the 7th hse Aries, it would stand to reason that the transit chart was representing some other and not the subject at hand. However, Using Virgo as an Asc for the father's suicide with the hand reference in its Naksharta makes sense too because it is the daughter's 8th hse in transit. I believe with these two charts, that the degree positions with their nakshatras were and are compelling. Third hse Sun in Rasi owning Leo and placed in 12th Taurus in Rasi is very powerful. So, is Mar's position in 2nd hse Cancer aspecting full 10th hse Aries/Mars. Ju in 10th hse Pisces/Ju aspecting 2nd hse Cancer with Mars, 4th hse Virgo and 6th hse Scorpio with rt Sa is also telling. Sa aspects too are commanding. with aspects on 8th hse Capricorn, 12th hse Taurus with Mo, Su, and Me and 3rd hse Leo with Gk ruled by Su. When one sees in Rasi that 8th hse Capricorn is aspected by both Mars and Sa and then in the transit chart Mar is placed in Capricorn to aspect on 7th ?, 8th full hse Aries/Ma - it is understandable that thinking processes would mistakenly conclude that Ma ruler of 3rd hse Scorpio would be the culprit for suicide. I didn't really dwell on the third hse or the 10th hse in Rasi or Transits. Maybe I should have taken a closer look but to say that third hse Mars or third hse denotes suicde is not accurate. Thank you Wendy for pointing this out as a general fact of reality. Too, again for the reference reminder that Jyotish-Vidya has a whole section on the significators of planets and house on its website.
