regarding navmansha /special talent etc.,

Dear Group,

I had joined the group a couple of days back and had been looking at

messages and trying to enrich my knowledge from the same. i have

query regarding navmansha (vargottam chart) which i have in mine and

my sons horoscope ... if any body can tell me more abt its

significance and impact i would be thankful

 

my Details

Name:Sunil

dob:13-06-1974

Tob:00:10am

Pob:Ajmer,rajasthan,India

 

My sons detail

Name:Palash

Dob:26-11-05

tob:6:59am

Pob:Hyderabad,A.p,India.

 

1. Both the charts have vargottam rashi charts.(pls throw some light

on the same.

2.pls let me know if my son has some special

talent/inclination/intrest which i can nurture....

Dear Sunil,

 

I've just now managed to take a look at your chart and, providing the

data (including coordinates) is correct, you have Aquarius rising

16°20'36" in the nakshatra of Rahu. In navamsha, Aquarius rises with

Rahu in lagna. In natal chart Rahu occupies 10th in sign of Mars.

Perhaps we can discuss the implications of this when I have a little

more time up my sleeve (than I do at present).

 

In the meantime other members might also like to offer an opinion...

 

Your son has Scorpio rising in both Rasi and Navamsha. I do think, as

your son is only 5 mths old, it's far too soon to be concerned with

developing any talents/interests he might have. Right now he's a

baby...enjoy that!

Dear Sunil,

 

A planet or lagna in Vargottama, as we know, will gain in strength.

What one needs to do initially is judge the rasi lagna to determine

what is being strengthened. Rahu plays a key role here as lagna falls

in nakshatra of Rahu whilst he (Rahu) occupies Navamsa lagna. Your

daily work, occupation/status is a powerful element in your unfolding

karma.

 

In Rasi, Rahu in 10th, is said to be debilitated in Scorpio and his

dispositor (Mars) is debilitated in Cancer (6th house)...etc. Both

lagna lord and 5th lord Mercury (karaka for 10th) occupy nakshatra of

Rahu.

 

When we say a planet (etc) is strengthened by being vargottama we

have to know what is being strengthened. For instance if a planet is

debilitated in both rasi and navamsha the negative result will be

strengthened...doubly debilitated, so to say. A planet exalted in

both rasi and navamsa will give excellent results. On the other hand

mixed results can be predicted if a planet is exalted in one but

debilitated in the other, and so forth.
