Guest guest
Dear All, I was recently looking at my sister's chart due to the ongoing problems with her heart condition. Obvious, of course, with Mars in 4th (chest area, heart etc) aspecting 4th lord Venus and Sun (which governs the physical heart). It was no surprise to me that this is the main focus of her life at this time, considering too that 4th shows the conditions at close of life. Whilst looking at the chart I was suddenly reminded of the recent Dalai Lama discussion and the strong conviction (held by some) that Mars occupying his 4th house was strong enough evidence to support Gemini lagna. I decided to compare the two charts in relation to Mars in 4th. Certainly my sister (Marlene) suffered from this placement in terms of her relationship with mother, happiness & contentment, confidence & belief etc.. But, although she was raised in a foster home, she lived close enough to mother that one could not say she was ever truly separated from her..they visited regularly! Nor was she ever separated from her homeland, in fact she's never left her homeland even for a holiday. Why would this be so when there was so much conviction that Mars in 4th separated the Dalai Lama from his homeland through violent conflict? Looking further at Marlene's chart, we see that 4th lord Venus, conjunct karaka for lagna (Sun) aspects lagna. As we know, lagna represents the birthplace and its environment. In the Dalai Lama's chart also (Gemini rising) 4th lord is associated with lagna (1st/4th lord Mercury in lagna) indicating his lifelong connection with homeland...this does not indicate exile. However, the aspect of 8th lord Jupiter on 4th lord Sun (karaka for lagna) whilst 3rd lord Moon, owning 12th from 4th, occupies 4th and conjuncts lagnesh Venus, surely speaks of exile! Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com ______________________________
