Guest guest
Dear Nyree, It's my opinion any astrologer worth paying any attention to, worth his salt at all, would never have written you in this way - and never written you that you have weak health and a short life span. Not to mention, truly only God knows our live span. After taking a glance at your chart, I see no reason for this person writing this to you. Given that you have a ten minute difference here in your birth time approximation, it's fortunate for you that with either end of that time, you have Scorpio as your lagna. Scorpio is a strong sign and in your case, the lord of Scorpio, Mars, is in Scorpio, making it even stronger. You yourself say that you've always been really healthy, so perhaps you can take that as a clear indication that this astrologer, if that's what he/she really is, knows nothing about your health. One very simple thought for your father's current health problems, without diving into your chart in any depth, is that RSaturn is currently in transit over your 9H of father. In your chart, natal RSaturn also gives a 3H aspect to this 9H, and if we take the later end of the time estimate you gave for your birth, since early February you have been in Venus/Mars/Saturn. Saturn Pratyantar , could also for this time highlight or activate more this current transit of RSaturn. Saturn is also the karaka for worry. As Saturn is transiting through Moon's house, it may be helpful and good to consider that mind - Moon - is all important and it's of value not to give any belief or credibility to these unnecessary worries. Kindest regards, Patrice _____ jyotish-vidya [jyotish-vidya] On Behalf Of nyree Sunday, March 26, 2006 4:25 PM jyotish-vidya Could Someone Please Ease My Mind??? Hi Everyone, One of my friends told me to post a message on the vedic astrology message board regarding a career decision I'm thinking of making. Last night I asked my question on whether I should get my real estate license or not and this person showed up on my IM. He or she told me I had weak health in my chart and that I had short life span. Now, as you can imagine all of my thoughts are on what this person said. I've always been really healthy but I have been very stressed out lately as my Dad has been having health problems and I've had to fight other family members that have made wrong decision regarding his health. I feel constantly on guard which has made me feel physically weak as a result. My birth data is: January 11, 1973 Lakenheath, England Sometime between 5:20 and 5:30 A.M. I've always been very health conscious with hardly any health problems but if anyone does see anything, please let me know. Thank you so much in advance. Guest guest
Dear Patrice, Thank you very much for your response. It has made me feel a lot better. I made a decision today to start taking better care of myself. My Mom actually said something similar to you in that the person who told me this about my chart was unprofessional and rude to say the least. I'm definitely not going to worry about it anymore now that someone else has looked at my chart and doesn't see anything. Maybe this was meant to happen to keep me conscious of how I treat my body. My Dad is a lot better these days but I've still been constantly on guard to keep anything else from happening to him so I've been feeling my heart beating a little too fast lately, especially when I get into bed. If I could ask on more question of you, is there a way for me to get a more accurate birth time? My Mom has always said that she looked at the clock when I was born and it was closer to 5:20 AM but the nurse insisted that it was 5:30. Are there little things that make a difference in the accuracy of my chart from not having a specific time to give? Thank you again. Guest guest
Hi Nyree, It sounds like your mom had some great advice for you and I agree with her completely. It's also obvious that the person who wrote this to you is not a professional astrologer. One thing to consider when you're writing for chart advice on these lists is that you can expect to get a lot of unprofessional comments and totally incorrect things said to you due to the fact that the lists are not meant for actual readings, but rather as places for genuine students to learn. The lists include a whole range of people who have different levels of knowledge - and some have none really, nor any understanding for the huge responsibility Jyotish is. As well different levels of understanding - and perhaps no understanding - of how intimate our comments can be to those receiving them. Also, when lists are as a group discussing a chart - and this is done for learning for the group, sometimes different aspects of the chart, which may be uncomfortable for the native to hear or perhaps to share with everyone, are brought out. These things are highlighted with the intention of study. Over my years of studying I have also met some people who were pretty good at viewing a chart, but have no sensitivity whatsoever in presenting their information. And some of these people do give professional readings, so it's important for anyone genuinely interested in getting their charts read to research it some before choosing who they would like to read their charts. I have a couple of friends very interested in having their charts done professionally, but who are very sensitive and inclined to worry about anything said, so although I might really like a certain astrologer who gives readings and think he/she to be exceptionally talented at seeing the chart, I wouldn't suggest him/her to these people. Rather someone else with more sensitivity and a different style who can present any issues well, as well as how to improve on any potential problems or strengthen specific planets with remedial measures. >From what you've said, another thing which may be helpful to you Nyree, is to learn to meditate. With Saturn in your 9H in Cancer, Moon's sign, it would be a good time for learning to meditate and definitely help you deal with all that's going on that you've mentioned and what you've said below. For getting an accurate birth time, there are professional astrologers who can help you via looking at the transits and correlating them with things that you've experienced at specific times, and other techniques as well. It takes a good astrologer with experience to do this and a lot more time in viewing your chart. Wendy is good at this, but doesn't give readings at this time. Andrew Lynn, in my opinion, is also good at techniques for this. He gave me a one minute difference in my chart after my younger brother died by looking in depth at my chart. Another great possibility is to see Yogi Karve when he is in the US, which he has been coming here now for a few years. He is gifted with the ability to look at you, and sometimes offers this also over the telephone, and will tell you your exact time of birth. It's an incredible experience to meet with him. He did give me the same time that Andrew had changed my birth time to, the one minute difference, and in my chart that made a large change. In answering your question, yes, it's always best to have the exact time of birth and more detail can be revealed with that information. To go into great detail and use many of the different Varga charts, as well as some techniques it is necessary to have the actual correct time of birth. In your specific case, the fact that you have a Scorpio lagna with either end of the time you gave, makes it somewhat easier for readings, as your lagna and therefore also the houses don't change in either time given. Also as you have 5 planets in your 2H, Saggitarius, makes it clear the importance of that house and sign in your chart. Also this shows Jupiter in Saggitarius and as depositor of all your planets other than Mars in your lagna. This Mars is Vargottama, again showing its strength, in your Navamsa chart. Moon doesn't change nakshatras at either end of your time, nor sub lords, and your ascendant nakshatra lord and sub remain the same (other than sub lord at 5:20 exactly is Sun verses Venus). As well your Navamsha chart doesn't change either from a Capricorn lagna, other again than at exactly 5:20. This all gives you a lot of information for your chart even without the exact time, and you're fortunate in that as this is not always the case. Since you're only looking at a 10 minute span and are certain the birth is within this time, it will be easier finding your correct time than if you had a wider range, or no birth time at all. Best wishes to you, Patrice _____ jyotish-vidya [jyotish-vidya] On Behalf Of nyree Monday, March 27, 2006 3:13 AM jyotish-vidya Re: Could Someone Please Ease My Mind??? Guest guest
Hi Patrice, Thanks for telling me about Yogi Karve. That sounds very interesting. I would really love to get into meditation. I've attempted it on and off for years now with not much success. It is REALLY hard to calm my mind down. I know I will have a lot more success whenever I'm able to move out into my own environment but I guess my Dad still needs me here for now. Anyway, I think I've already spoken with Andrew for a short time on messenger and he told me he would look at my chart in around a week. I feel like really need to buckle down and figure out what I should be doing career wise at this time as well. I'm going to a real estate lecture tonight to see how it feels.
