Respected Madam,

Thank you very much for your guidance madam. In each and every

word of your mail, i feel your care. Thanks a lot.

I dont feel like you are impressing Christianity on me. I

certainly respect all religion(really, am not writing this simply in

words) and have faith in my own religion and more trust in God. I

believe that God will definitely accept the prayers that we do with

true heart, the divine power is not that simple that looks for

religion and other things. [sorry madam, i hope i am out of the

topic.]

I want to consult a physician regarding my problem madam, even in

my college days i told this to my parents. But they have the false

belief and my dad told me that i wont have such a problem. Now only i

started earning, but i am getting less pay. I am waiting for my time,

so that once i have enough money i have to consult doctor. But, thing

is i feel ashamed for consulting so. But i have to do. From my 8'th

standard or even before i used to cry for my sexuality, before

sleeping i'll weep and in my college days even i tried to commit

suicide. Then i dropped that idea bcoz of my parents and above all,

God is there..i have to trust him... i know commiting suicide is sin.

Madam, i hope am currently running Saturn maha-dasa,

In my case Saturn is the Lord of the Ascendent, and he is conjuncted

with exalted 9'th lord Mercury. Also Saturn is my Atmakaraka.

So, will this dasa fruitify me?? why i am asking so is, I found in

net that Atmakaraka's dasa will be bad or pains will be ther in AK's

dasa period. Hence my current dasa is both Lagna lord's dasa and AK's

dasa, how it will be?

And i plan to learn vedic astrology by joining some course [i dnt

knw, what courses/degrees available..] after an year. So what i have

to do, to become a good jyotish?

Also, i want to do service to the people like old age homes, or

orphanage? how effectively may i do that so that it must be useful

for atlest few peoples. I dont want to get married, since you know

about my problem. Is that possible for me to do the service

successfully?

Thanks for ur time madam.

Ramkumar

Dear Ram,

Just taking a quick moment to let you know that I'm away from the

group for a few days. To maintain my own well-being it's necessary

for me to have a couple of days each week away from all the mental

activity - time to unwind and renew :-)

I just want you to know that I will respond to your questions on

Monday (after my break). I'm very much aware of the reality of your

problem and I'm sure, given the strength of your 9th house, that

everything will ultimately work out for the best. The present transit

of Ketu, as I said in an earlier post, can bring some difficulties,

but it will pass.

Yes Ram, I do believe you when you say you respect all religions -

your 9th house is testament to this :-)

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy

Dear Ram,

Apologies for delay in responding to your queries. Unavoidable at the

moment with many things to deal with off list - not the least of

which is the critical condition of my sister who is still in

intensive care (in a coma and on life support). I'm also endeavouring

to build a series of "Lessons for Beginners" on JyotishVidya website

in response to the many queries I have from people (like yourself)

wanting to know what courses are on offer... It's a slow process I'm

afraid, demanding much of what's in short supply (for me) at the

moment - time!

You Wrote:

///And i plan to learn vedic astrology by joining some course [i dnt

knw, what courses/degrees available..] after an year. So what i have

to do, to become a good jyotish?///

I'm aware of most of the courses available but can't, in good faith,

recommend any of them as they're either far too expensive (ACVA

charges $2450. for first year tuition of 10 three week modules) or

they fall into the same habit of not distinguishing between the

separate systems of prediction.

I was recruited as a teacher by Dirah Academy some years back but

resigned when restrictions were placed on my freedom of speech - so I

know a little on how these courses are run.

///Madam, i hope am currently running Saturn maha-dasa,

In my case Saturn is the Lord of the Ascendent, and he is conjuncted

with exalted 9'th lord Mercury. Also Saturn is my Atmakaraka.///

Yes, that's right. Your current dasa/bhukti lord is lagnesh Saturn

and he's conjunct 9th lord Mercury in 9th house. This is a good time

for higher learning (jyotish etc). Unfortunately the transit of Ketu

is problematic and can cause restrictions, difficulties, unexpected

changes (unforeseen circumstances) and so forth.

///So, will this dasa fruitify me?? why i am asking so is, I found in

net that Atmakaraka's dasa will be bad or pains will be ther in AK's

dasa period. Hence my current dasa is both Lagna lord's dasa and AK's

dasa, how it will be?///

The only time you would consider the influence of (chara) atmakaraka

would be if you were using the (Jaimini) chara dasa system. In the

Parashara Vimsottari system, only the constant karakas are considered

i.e. Sun = Soul/Self/Father; Moon = Mind/Emotions/Mother; Mars =

Siblings/Courage/Energy and so forth.

Contrary to an earlier statement by Olusanya Bey (I think), Parashara

gives these natural (or constant) karakas right at the beginning of

BPHS (Ch 3.) whereas the chara karakas are not mentioned until Ch.32.

Ch.3:

12-13. PLANETARY GOVERNANCES:

The Sun is the soul of all. The Moon is the mind. Mars is one's

strength. Mercury is speech-giver while Jupiter confers Knowledge and

happiness. Venus governs semen (potency) while Saturn denotes grief.*

///Also, i want to do service to the people like old age homes, or

orphanage? how effectively may i do that so that it must be useful

for atlest few peoples. I dont want to get married, since you know

about my problem. Is that possible for me to do the service

successfully?///

Service is seen from 6th house. Rahu here is a compelling force and

with his dispositor owning/occupying 9th house in conjunction with

lagna lord Saturn you can render good service :-)

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy

Respected Madam,

Thanks a lot for your prediction, even thought you are busy with

your programme. You already intimated me about your late response.

Hope your sister will be okay now, and my prayers for her to get well

soon.

Dear Ram,

We can never doubt the power of prayer :-)

I've just received the news that, although still a very sick lady,

she's out of the coma (at last) and is responding to people with nods

and smiles. She can't talk as yet, due to the breathing tube in her

throat, but she is awake and responding.

I've lost two (older) sisters in the last couple of years and,

although it's heart-wrenching at the time, knowing that we're all

approaching that time in our lives, it's easier to adjust to. It's

been a little different however with my twin so close to death. I

just couldn't escape the thought that we came into this world

together and that something very primordial would be missing (from

me) if she were to leave.

With the other two sisters, the indications in their horoscope were

clear (strong) and I was expecting it; with Marlene it hasn't been

clear at all - hence I made no comment on her chart regarding this

crisis. Certainly her comatose state (in hospital) has been visible

with Moon's dispositor (Venus) in 12th aspected by 12th/1st lord

Saturn etc.. And her breathing difficulties (a respirator had to

breathe for her) could be seen with dasa lord Mercury, debilitated in

Pisces, conjunct Rahu. Rx Mercury has now moved back into Aquarius

and, although she still has the tube to assist her breathing, she has

improved.

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy

Respected Madam,

Thanks a lot for your prediction, even thought you are busy with

your programme. You already intimated me about your late response.

Hope your sister will be okay now, and my prayers for her to get well

soon.

Dear Wendyji,

So nice to hear the good news about your sister.

Also good to know is that Mercury has moved back from Pisces to Aq.

This will definitely help the virgos like me to not to comment

without looking ): ( Refering to the case of Saturn in aslesha)

Best Regards
