Guest guest
Dear All, Considering the transit of Saturn through Cancer (lagna in group chart), it's not surprising that the group has been involved in these discussions. Lagna lord Moon is conjunct bhukti lord Rahu in 10th, whilst transit dasa/PD lord Venus has mutual aspect with transit Saturn from Capricorn. Recently our State Premier (equivalent to Governor in US) resigned due to depression and on today's news we heard of yet another well-known personality quiting due to ongoing depression. The same (news) report said that scientists were excited because they'd isolated the gene that predisposes one to depression. Of course Astrologers have recognised this predisposition (Astrologically) for eons and, in spite of what Christine has said (below), the indications for mental illnes and/or drug abuse are clearly visable in a horoscope...this is certain! ///I have collected quite a few charts and I can tell you there is no easy correlation for drug abuse and mental illness or even the two separately./// In John Nash's case (schizophrenia) we saw the affliction of Moon from trishadaya lord Mars, whilst in Das's case Moon is afflicted by trishadaya lord Saturn. We know Saturn is a depressive planet and Mars is a violent planet...you can draw your own conclusions! Of course there are other influences to consider (which we've already discussed). Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com <http://JyotishVidya.com> ______________________________
Guest guest
Dear Wendyji, What does the trishadaya horoscope indicate? Are there particular placement rules for the same as regards planets. Sorry for bothering you,but am kind of free for the moment and then there is so much to learn from you ): Thanks in advance Best Regards Nilesh jyotish-vidya, "wenvasuk" <jyotish wrote: > > > Dear All, > > Considering the transit of Saturn through Cancer (lagna in group chart), > it's not surprising that the group has been involved in these > discussions. Guest guest
Dear Wendy, forgive me for obviously not making myself clear. Of course there are certain constellation that point to drug abuse and to mental illness. The crux is, to which degree this surfaces. Some people with the said constellations suffer from minor depressions or take drugs periodically without becoming addicts, others with similar constellations ma even turn spiritual. All I meant to say is, that there is no 100% working drug yoga just as there a many ways say Guru Chandala may operate. Best wishes to all Chris On Mar 1, 2006, at 11:15, wenvasuk wrote: > > Dear All, > > Considering the transit of Saturn through Cancer (lagna in group > chart), > it's not surprising that the group has been involved in these > discussions. Guest guest
Dear Wendy and All, I tried to send the following earlier, but with much frustration my post was lost when my computer decided to freeze on . Anyway, Wedny, it would be great to have the details on the group birth charts for the data base. There are two I beleive. One in 2001 and another last January when the newst forum was started. Could you or someone else relay the information to me? that would be great. I am in agreement too, that a chart can clearly show an escapism use or an emotional or mental distress. But the two do not necessarily go hand in hand in ones chart However, Depression and other ills of the emotional and physical, do show pain in charts where to ease its woes it is not unusual to see a planet or house placment reflecting escapism uses. But it is not a given. I would like to see more discussion by group members on this subject. Mer, MO, 6th, 12th house placements etc etc. Uttara jyotish-vidya, "wenvasuk" <jyotish wrote: > > > Dear All, > > Considering the transit of Saturn through Cancer (lagna in group chart), > it's not surprising that the group has been involved in these > discussions.
