Guest guest
Dear All, Due to some recent discussions on travel, I thought it might be beneficial if we were to clarify some points. The houses concerned with travel are: 3rd = Inner City Travel. 7th = Travel for business/trade 9th = Long distance travel (for pleasure) 12th = Travel to foreign lands (beyond our country's borders, this can also mean beyond our state borders). Further to this: 7th = Residence abroad.. 10th = Living abroad. I know (on my website) "overseas journeys" is listed as a signification of 8th house, but this can be misleading as, being 9th from 12th, it refers specifically to long journeys (within) a foreign land, or even, of course, within another state (outside our borders). Some scholars say that it (8th) shows distant travels i.e. travel in distant lands or strange (foreign) adventures, both in body and in mind. It is the house of transformation, or house of change. If 8th lord is afflicted or weak it can indicate difficulties in foreign land...luck is spoilt in foreign land! Of course all influences, as with everything, need to be assessed carefully. Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com ______________________________
