Namaste Wendy and all,

Re: My Son's general physiology and current illness of Infectious

Mono, strep throat, abscess tonsils and fever along with low blood

pressure, aggravated by dehydration and mitral valve prolapse.

I find that my son is a true Kapha Vata physical disposition.

Cancer rising (Kapha) with Asc lord Moon deteriment in 7th hse

Capricorn at 1*.

Because the Moon is also waning, it shows more Vata.

Therefore, his constitution is Kapha Vata.

The Moon is associated with Jupiter in the 7th hse Capricorn ruled

by Saturn.

Its characteristic physiology is governed then by planet and house

afflictions that are ruled by:

7th House = Abdomen

Jupiter's 6th hse ruler in 7th.

Jupiter = liver, throat, allergies and asthma

6th from 7th hse = Gemini sign of asthma and 12th hse (loss,

hospitalization) with Sun = organ of voice (loss of) and blood

pressure (low and fainting) along with combust Mars (bile and

nose).

Gemini ruled by Mercury = loss of speech

Moon rules lst hse of self (body) in 7th.

lst hse = head

Moon = Blood circulation, lungs, Tonsils.

6th from 7th hse = Gemini (12th - loss, hospitalization) with Sun =

organ of voice (loss of )and blood pressure (low and fainting)along

with combust Mars (bile and nose).

Gemini ruled Mercury = loss of speech

Sun's depositor is in Gemini, 6th from 7th hse and 12th hse from Asc.

Sun = head, bile, blood pressure and fever

Sun ruler of Leo = enlarge liver, spleen; blood pressure

Saturn ruler of 7th hse = respitory system

Capricorn = cold

************

Current Dasha is Ma Mo Sa.

Mars is in twelfth hse Gemini combust Sun's association in same hse

of 5* difference.

Moon is deteriment in seventh hse Capricorn.

Saturn (exhalted)is in fourth hse Libra associated with Ketu.

Venus ruler of 4th hse Libra = fluids, cold, emission, secretion and

asthma; affecting home and personal values along with Ketu =

consumption and fever

Venus is also in own house (11th) of Taurus = organs of the face and

neck, diseases of the bronchial tube.

11th house = heart trouble, heat in the body

I would conclude that this is a very sick young adult supported by

the above descriptions of illness that correlates with his current

illness of Infectious Mono affecting his spleen, liver, throat

(tonsils)and fever; strep throat, abscess tonsils and low blood

presure problems.

*************

I'm not sure if I got it all Wendy, but I understand. His PD is

going to change in a few days to Mercury, ruler of his 12th hse

Gemini and I am holding my breath. It just can't get any worse for

this vibrant sage soul. Yet - I see that it can.....

This summer he will have his tonsils out and sinus surgery.

Hopefully, these two procedures will help mitigate his weak physical

constitution.

Although, his state of mental worries and frustrations will be

needed to attend to.

quoted from jyotishvidya.com/Prikriti:

Kapha is related to fluids, mucous, lungs and asthma. "out of

balance, lethargic and slow. Can become depressed, prone to colds,

sinus problems and chest infections".

Vata is related to unpredictability. " Vata is extremely sensitive

to change in their environment - prone to worry and insomnia,

anxiety".

end quote.

As of now, unless some huge miracle drops from heaven, this child

will not graduate from University in spring of 2008 as planned with

his classmates. Although, this is not the end of the world - to him

it is. So close and yet so far away. J's Asc ruler Moon and 7th

house ruler Saturn has put every obstacle in front of him since he

was born. There is more in his birth chart to blame but, I will

leave it at these two areas for now.

There is though, much to support in his chart of his blessings.

However, I am too close - being his mother - to see accurately in

the midst of his current illness. Nevertheless, I know in my heart

and soul where he is coming from and his authentic value, because, I

have witnessed it for 20 years. Therefore, I believe in him and

trust that his blessings will win in the long term. His tenacity

and work ethic is something else. His perseverance and heart rule

his integrity of soundness.

Now, if he can just keep going physically.

Here is the good news for the moment: His tonsils have abated

enough in the last week that I could not only see the back of his

throat once again, but, the child found his voice. Enough to cease

his liquid vicoden and steriods along with arguing and pleading with

me for his return to school. Ha - and here I was having heart

failure that the child would be down for months!!!

Oh, the joys of children.

Ok, the doctors that were writing him and his schooling off a few

weeks ago are incredulously surprised at his recovery and have given

him the ok to return to school. Not because you understand, they

feel that it is the best thing for him physically, but, because it's

the best medicine, they can give him emotionally.

And that, so often in the long run is the best medicine.

J returned to school this past weekend. His dad ordered and had

shipped in time for his return a (I kid you not) $600.00 self-

contained furnace for his apartment. Why, one might ask! Well,

where he attends University, which is, 2000 miles away, the weather

is generally warmer and most housing in that area does not come with

heating. It has been unusually cold there this past season and

often the housing is registering inside around 40*.

So, J got a furnace. Not the gift a 20 yr old necessarily wants,

but a compromise for his return to school. That and 65% of his

school schedule and committed Theatre activities have been cut. Per

doctors orders. Actually they wanted him home this semester but,

relinquished when they saw J turn the corner and were given complete

access to his private doctors there that I set up for J last October

off campus. This, and the knowledge that his schooling is on the

campus of a major medical center and hospital.

Therefore, with trepidation, J is back on campus. Ma Mo Mercury are

rounding the corner 1/21 so it is going to be something else.

However, at least J is giving it a good try and that is very good

for him psychologically.

I will finish with this note for astrological interest. Last

Wednesday to be exact. 1/11/2006 J, like many college students at

the semester have large sums of money flowing through their bank

accounts for financial coverage of school expenses dished out by

loans, scholarships and parental emptying of pockets as students

return to school for the semester. January then becomes one of the

huge months for money transferring allover the place.

Sure enough, even though J was not on campus, he like many

vulnerable (non-thinking at the moment) kids, hit the ok button on

their computers when the supposed University asks for verification

on their school bank accounts. Ah, it's called pfishing and his

university students have been targeted big time in the last 6 wks

(so we have been told by authorities). $2000,00 was taken from his

account almost as soon as he hit the ok button.

Up shot is - his bank tracked down the transaction being from Japan

and are hot on the tail of this suspect or enterprise behind the

theft. Word has it that International authorities are on to these

people especially since a lot of activity has been happening to

students on this campus and others as well.

So, when one reads J's chart for the moment, his transits speak of

loss, interruption of school, illness, and theft.

I will close now, but not before I acknowledge that my study of

Prikriti might sorely be lacking but to the best of my effort for

the moment and to ask you Wendy, how are you and David faring these

days?

All my best to all,

Uttara

p.s. is there anything one wants to add or correct? I am all ears

and appreciative of all efforts in learning :-)!

Yes, Wendy, I realized almost as soon as I hit the send button on my

breakdown of explanation, that I thoroughly missed Mercury in 1st

house. It does make a (huge) difference doesn't it. I can't believe

I missed it but I am back to the drawing board as they say.

Too, I was concentrating the Prikriti solely from the Asc and its

ruler more than anything else.

>Vata Saturn, in the company of vata Ketu aspects lagna from vata

Taurus.

I am lost here.

I understand the fourth house Saturn/Ketu association in Libra. I

understand too that both Ketu 21* and Saturn retrograde 28* here are

ruled by Jupiter in Nakshatra Vishakha. J's Atmakaraka is Saturn

too. I also understand that even though Saturn is exalted in the

sign of Libra, it is the Nakshatra Swati, 6* - 20* ruled by Rahu,

that pronounces its exaltation.

Libra sign ruler, Venus, is also ruler of 11th house Taurus with

Venus there in its own house. Venus is in the nakshatra of krittika

3* which is ruled by Sun.

4th house Libra is 6 and 8 houses from 11th house Taurus.

I understand the significance of Sun in twelfth house Gemini, as I

do Jupiter retrograde in 7th house Capricorn, ruled by Saturn with

Moon there also debilitated.

What I don't understand is how "vata Saturn in the company of vata

Ketu aspects lagna from vata Taurus. It's the Taurus part I don't

get.

This I would agree with very much.!!

Thanks Wendy, good luck with your DSL connection. I find it most

troubling for me too. Maybe it's because the connection is weak due

to few towers in the area.

It is very late here and I will leave further study for another time

after resting. It has been a trying time and I have been rather

exhausted with strain, where mental clarity often has been cloudy,

if not completely off the mark in my studies and application.

Always,

Uttara

Always,

Uttara
