Guest guest
Dear Mr Rui and MrsWendy, Probably dasa based on the star at the time of birth is the link from the past to present birth and the proposed way of his karmas. Where as Antar dasa is with reference bhavs and houses which are likely to get activated because of placement, aspect and conjunction. Then comes the pratyantar of the kind of action and reaction that can happen and taken place. In this process the gochara influence arising out of the action signify extent of impact.Perhaps, here at this the yogas that arise along with gochra planets and their nashtra lords(lesser lords) have great relevance in pinpointing the occurence of action. Thus transit or gochara has finally a great significance in the end results that accrues to a native.be it good or bad from the point of view of individual. In fact this path(occurence) in no less way ambiguous. From past karmas to present there are no loose ends. For evry action there is reaction or result krishnan RPM <rupamede wrote: Dear Mrs Wendy, Your interjection is very welcome. Regarding the Dasha levels, I have read the following somewhere, but would like to seek confirmation from you about the real meanings: Dasha levels: 1. Mahadasha indicates your Karma; 2. Bukthi indicates who you meet and the things (problems, etc) you encounter; 3. Indicates how you are going to react to those things promised in the bukthi; Would it then be correct to say, risking paraphrasing journalist language, that level 1 is the WHAT, then level 2 could be the WHO, 3rd HOW? What about the 4th, 5th and 6th levels, what are their meanings? As you say, it is important to "understand well the influence of these lesser lords", then what are their objective meanings and how do they function. is there anywhere on your website where I can retrieve this info? Thanks again, Rui. Wendy Vasicek <jyotish wrote: Dear Rui and Krishnan, If you don't mind me interjecting here... You're correct that 5th house of children also governs disciples and students. However subordinates (as in training those under you in the workplace) is best seen from 6th house. See here: http://jyotishvidya.com/bhavas.htm Your bhukti lord Sun (in 6th) is conjunct 6th lord Mercury, karaka for 10th. Certainly some adjustment in time can be implemented with the help of sookshmantar, but it's necessary to understand well the influence of these lesser lords. Also, the transit of Moon will often be the catalyst for specific events. If I'm not mistaken Moon was transiting Sun in 6th on 2nd Aug. Moon then moved to 7th house (conjunct transit SU-SA-ME)... Remember natal Moon occupies nakshatra of 8th lord Sun, who BTW, owns 11th from 10th. The Rule: "Sun is the initiator; Moon the fructifier" is worth remembering. I give you an example of something that happened to me from august 2nd to 8th-9th 2005. If my date of birth is 18.35.42 on July 9th 1969 in Luanda, Angola, I was then doing rahu-sun-rahu-VENUS. Venus makes sense because at that time, that week, I was training new starters and my Venus is placed in 5th of disciples, so that makes sense, but another thing happened to do with my career as a translator and that too could be seen from position of Venus at the time in 8th house. Now my question is that because Venus is placed in 5th conjunct the Moon, in the same nakshatra but still 9 degrees away, could this activate the Moon as well in a way that during this Venus period (Aug 1st to 8th) indeed my mind was so low and I felt so depressed and that only has a perfect explanation if we look at the Moon's itinerary from 6th to 9th where it encounters several natal "malefic" planets and houses that would put her down, but this would only make sense if the Moon was operational in the Dasha, which for birth time 18.35.42 it is not, however if we could say that Venus by being operational would activate the Moon even though there are still 9 degrees between them, then that would make all the sense. So my question regarding degrees etc was intended in this sense... Guest guest
Dear Rui, The basic principle, and this applies to all (mahadasa, bhukti, PD etc), is quite simple: "The significations of the planet, and the affairs of the house it occupies, will manifest during its dasa." The mahadasa, due to its longer duration will show the main trend in life. For instance, during this Mercury mahadasa, the trend of my life has been on learning, writing, communicating (as per the significations of Mercury), and that learning/communicating has been an expression of 9th house. Of course other things happen within that period (as per the sub-lords), worries and concerns for children, ups and downs generally, hospitalisation, death of siblings and so forth...all sorts of things happen, but still the main trend of life is according to dasa lord. My comment earlier on the importance of understanding the influence of the sub lords was in reference to their significations and the affairs of the house they occupy...that's all; nothing complicated, no hidden meaning :-) As for the sookshmantar(4th) and pranadasa(5th), I don't know of any astrologer who uses them consistently as birth time must be rectified precisely...pranadasa can be so fleeting, do we really need to know the minutest details of every day which are generally forgotten very quickly anyway?
