Guest guest
Dear Krishnan ji, Thank you for your reply. I give you an example of something that happened to me from august 2nd to 8th-9th 2005. If my date of birth is 18.35.42 on July 9th 1969 in Luanda, Angola, I was then doing rahu-sun-rahu-VENUS. Venus makes sense because at that time, that week, I was training new starters and my Venus is placed in 5th of disciples, so that makes sense, but another thing happened to do with my career as a translator and that too could be seen from position of Venus at the time in 8th house. Now my question is that because Venus is placed in 5th conjunct the Moon, in the same nakshatra but still 9 degrees away, could this activate the Moon as well in a way that during this Venus period (Aug 1st to 8th) indeed my mind was so low and I felt so depressed and that only has a perfect explanation if we look at the Moon's itinerary from 6th to 9th where it encounters several natal "malefic" planets and houses that would put her down, but this would only make sense if the Moon was operational in the Dasha, which for birth time 18.35.42 it is not, however if we could say that Venus by being operational would activate the Moon even though there are still 9 degrees between them, then that would make all the sense. So my question regarding degrees etc was intended in this sense... Thanks again for your comments, Rui vattem krishnan <bursar_99 wrote: Dear Rui ji, Parashari has always given due credence to transits and no doubt the degrees of the ascendanats and the palnets only reveal what is true or going to be true.Infact if we also take and consider Ashtakavarga in to account it is to involve the transit with natal charts>Infact my teachers both shri Kapoor and Shri K.N.Rao will never jump to natal/birth horoscope without going through trransit position in details.Infact in our system we have relevance to Pabchang which is transit position.Apply always natal chart on transit chart and analyse bhavas as well as dasa it is in going on to the native.we understand why wendy's son is going through such series of mishaps. This is possible with degrees and the transi position.Even parashar too explained this in detail in his theory krishnan RPM <rupamede wrote: Dear list, I hope Mrs Wendy's son is recovering well. As you probably have noticed, when I study what is going to happen to someone, I normally use the transits, but I have seen that if I used all the 5 dashas and sub periods, I would probably be able to know things in much more detail. I believe this is what many of you do, especially Mrs Wendy, when she presents us with so many delightfully detailed readings using the Parashari method. In future I will also look into all the subperiods - presently I only take 3 of them into account. My fear is that the native may not give me an accurate time of birth and if so that would change everything and give rise to many mistakes, that is why I use transists analysis more than the sub periods... A question that I have for you has to do with the degrees. You see, the degrees are so important for me when I do the transits analysis, so I would like to know are they also very important in the Parashari method? For example, in my chart, Mars, 11th lord (functional malefic) is my 11th and indeed the elder brother just before me died before I was born, and at times chronic problems with elder borthers do occur, but Mars is only at degree 9, so if my ascendant degrees are 2, then I can only explain Mars's malefic influcence over the 11th of elder brothers if in the Parashara system degrees do no have that much of an importance. I would understand that if by using all the dashas subperiods, instead of the transits, we would see that Mars would come up for a few weeks, for example, so its influence should be felt as per natal chart during those weeks regardless of where Mars is at that time during transit. Is my assumption correct? Please could I have your comments on this? I can provide more examples for study. Thanks again, Rui. Guest guest
Dear Mr Krishnan, Also a Happy New Year with all that's good for you and your family. Please do let me know what you find on my chart, I would be very happy if you could have a look. The Moon rules emotions and indeed my spirits only were lifted after the Moon's transit over the natal malefic houses and planets was over, but that is something the Moon does every month, however if it was operating in any way in the dasha system then that would account 100% for what happened. Also the Venus in opeartion transiting 8th would account for the career (10th rulership) setback even though at work (6th for daily job, correct?) all was fine and I was actually having some nice projection while training the new starters - could this be the Sun at my ascendant, but the Sun is supposed to be malefic for a Capricorn... Thanks again, Rui. vattem krishnan <bursar_99 wrote: Dear Mr Rui, may be i will also go through the natal details before i respond further. wish you a very happy new Year and Almighty to bless you with prosperity, peace and progress.we pray for all of you Iam sure Mrs Wendy is now able to divert her attention bit from her son's health as he is able to progress and breath. Our prayers to both of them and their family krishnan RPM <rupamede wrote: Dear Krishnan ji, Thank you for your reply. Guest guest
Dear Rui and Krishnan, If you don't mind me interjecting here... You're correct that 5th house of children also governs disciples and students. However subordinates (as in training those under you in the workplace) is best seen from 6th house. See here: http://jyotishvidya.com/bhavas.htm Your bhukti lord Sun (in 6th) is conjunct 6th lord Mercury, karaka for 10th. Certainly some adjustment in time can be implemented with the help of sookshmantar, but it's necessary to understand well the influence of these lesser lords. Also, the transit of Moon will often be the catalyst for specific events. If I'm not mistaken Moon was transiting Sun in 6th on 2nd Aug. Moon then moved to 7th house (conjunct transit SU-SA-ME)... Remember natal Moon occupies nakshatra of 8th lord Sun, who BTW, owns 11th from 10th. The Rule: "Sun is the initiator; Moon the fructifier" is worth remembering. Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com ______________________________ RPM <rupamede wrote: Dear Krishnan ji, Thank you for your reply.
