I was offered a job with the govt (taxation deptt) in Canada, which is supposedly temporary till June, 2006. I am in USA, currently, trying to find a job (laziness, lack of motivation, depression, erratic routine, etc). My car broke down (Happened at the same day, the job was offered!! Talk about Saturn being in the house of losses, while lord of 10 and 11th), adding to the problem of moving and mobility. What should I do. Take something small and temporary and MOVE (without car) OR stay put, where I am, and keep looking for opportunities. Jupiter is a benefic planet for Aries and you are doing its benefic dasha plus those are the exact months I predicted Jupiter would be transiting your Sun and aspecting your ascendant degree. Sometimes those temporary positions can change a person's life in such a way that you never want to come back to the life you had. Think of all that may come from this temporary change. If nothing changes, then can you not come back to the USA? I think that having positive thinking may also help a lot, don't you think? This proximity with your son, does it not excite you? As spoken of in an earlier mail, you've recently commenced Rahu pratyantar dasa (Nov 21). Rahu, conjunct 10/11 lord Saturn occupies 12th house (foreign connection). Presently Rahu is transiting 12th whilst his dispositor (Jupiter) transits 6th lord in 7th...6th is the house of work (employment). Providing your time is correct, the sookshmantar of Saturn is in effect from Dec 5 to 13th...Saturn, in sign of Grt.En., is transiting your 4th house (vehicles etc) and so you see the difficulty with transport has risen...moolatrikona Saturn owns 8th from 4th! The uncertainty that afflicts your mind (emotions, confidence, belief) making it difficult for you to make a decision, is due certainly to natal Saturn's aspect on Moon and his current transit through 4th house. If this doesn't convince you that Saturn is malefic for you, nothing will. I've told you to pacify malefic Saturn with japa...NOT to strengthen him with gem! 11th lord Saturn aspecting Moon, Jupiter and Mars is the cause of many of your difficulties. If you wear blue sapphire what you will be doing, in effect, will be increasing the effect of 11th lord on these vulnerable planets....why would you choose to do that? By pacifying Saturn through yapa you will, in effect, be calming the effect Saturn has on Moon etc.. The only exception that I know of is; if Saturn is exalted in Libra or in Capricorn/Aquarius (SasaYoga), then you could wear his stone during his mahadasa (only). But, again, NOT if he's aspecting vital planets as is the case in your chart. This is my understanding - other members might have more information to add to this?
