Guest guest
Dear Rajesh, I would like to make a quick comment on what you said below, if I may. As you know, slow-moving, sluggish Saturn, aspecting lagnesh Mars and dasa & bhukti lords in 6th as well as 4th lord Moon, is considered a functional malefic for Aries. The only other aspect on Moon, isolated in 2nd house of family, is from 7th lord Venus who, although being his dispositor, is a temporary enemy of Moon. Moon is the prime indicator for (your) general happiness and contentment being both lord and karaka for 4th. The aspect of Saturn on Moon and Jupiter, the natural significator of happiness, speaks truly that the lethargy and lack of motivation (laziness) you feel is real for you. I wish I could offer more to you in terms of overcoming some of the afflictions in your chart. It's difficult to think as clearly as needed when rushing off a response in between other mails. However, I think I had mentioned some time back that you should begin with mrtyunjaya mantra, is this so? I can't quite remember now... It is a good remedy to pacify the malefic nature of Saturn, and there can be no doubt that if you were to adopt this mantra as your own, reciting it everyday, you would surely find a greater sense of peace and tranquillity of mind. It is said that the continuous chanting of mrtyunjaya, along with meditation of its meaning, can create the power to overcome all obstacles. Treat it as your friend, your companion. Get to know the mantra in this way (as a trusted friend and constant companion) and I'm sure you'll reap the benefits. In case you don't know, here is the meaning of the mantra: "Om. We worship Tryambakam, (literally "Three Eyed One" [siva] symbolizing perfect knowledge of the three realms - physical, thought, spirit) By whose grace we are increasingly strengthened and nourished to a state of perfect readiness. like the fragrant, ripe melon that is effortlessly released from its vine, leaving no scar. Please liberate us from identification with the mortal body and its certain death, and from the illusion of all limitation, which is like death. And do not let us forget the imperishable nature of the soul, nor our own immortality." In earlier mail I had said: "For you, 5th lord Sun (nakshatra lord of Jupiter) suffers debilitation in 7th house whilst his dispositor (7th lord Venus) has gone to 8th house of conflict/betrayal/separation etc.. Furthermore Jupiter, significator of children is aspected by Saturn and associated (in 6th house of obstacles) with 1st/8th lord Mars and Ketu (lagna lord Mars in the house of enemies indicates many difficulties in life) and, as you know, there are severe obstacles to your being able to enjoy the pleasure of your child." Guest guest
Dear Mrs Wendy, very good suggestion to maintain:'surely find a greater sense of peace and tranquillity of mind."during the periods of trials and tribulations . A very good insight and thoughtful of you with rich experience and knowledge to give this suggestion. To name plantes association conjunction and aspects theoriticall we may have several names to name yogas. These however should not distrub the moral courage to face the obstacles.Prayers do give peace and boost confidence.I also suggest worship to a female Goddess particularly for family related issues through Durga satpatstuti. This month commencing from Dec15th is very auspicious for propitations and early mornings caroles/nagar kirtans and praise of Gods and Goddesses and invoke a spirtual bent is best way to overcome the bad times regards krishnan Wendy Vasicek <jyotish wrote: Dear Rajesh, I would like to make a quick comment on what you said below, if I may. Guest guest
Dear Krishnan, You Wrote: >>very good suggestion to maintain:'surely find a greater sense of peace and tranquillity of mind."during the periods of trials and tribulations .<< This advice, of course, was specific for Rajesh due to F/M Saturn's aspect on Moon (lord and karaka of 4th house) and planets in 6th. According to many sources mahamtyunjaya mantra can pacify Saturn to a great degree and help loosen his hold over the planets he aspects. Some also say worship of lord Hanuman is effective in restraining the malefic nature of Saturn...is this not so? No doubt, in Rajesh's chart, Saturn's maleficence is increased due to the presence of Rahu. Indicating (perhaps) that Saturn's natural tendency towards perseverance/patience/penance (meditation) is disturbed by the compulsive nature of Rahu, or perhaps we could say that the slow, melancholy (depressive/lazy) attributes of malefic Saturn might become compulsive due to his conjunction with Rahu. I think this Saturn/Rahu conjunction (Shrapit Yoga?) was spoken of in an earlier thread...Nilesh Joshi might have brought it up, I think - can't remember exactly as my mind was on other things at the time and I didn't pick up on it... I think I also advised Rajesh (some time back) that it would be good to strengthen 5th lord Sun who, debilitation in 7th house of spouse, is conjunct 6th lord Mercury whilst his dispositor has gone to 8th. I don't know if he's taken any of this advice to heart or even considered any of the remedies... In all probability he has not as the very influence of Saturn on Moon (mind) would make positive action hard for him to initiate. This is karma!...it's not so easy to overcome :-( This too was spoken of in an earlier thread with "Sean Patrick Kelly" (Free Will and Destiny). He was adamant that by exercising our own free will we could overcome our karma. He also said that, although we may not be able to change (all) our karma, we could change the way we react to it .. My response was; 'try telling that to a native with Moon heavily afflicted by Saturn'...or words to that effect. Guest guest
Dear wendy ji, Normally worship of Hanuman holds good according to nature of sign.If the sign where Saturn is palced is a watery or earthy sign, the worship of female Godess is better. This will also help for malefic Venus and for expediting betrothal matters. Where as Mrityunjaya mantram is resorted to overcome prolonged illness and the chronic diseases making the native to suffer with pains, prayer through Mahamrityunjaya mantram will help. Genaral recitation of Mahamrityunjaya mantram promotes peace and happiness. Infact as far as mantras are concerned they can be recited anybody as they do not harm the persons. However in all these mantras purity of thought, mind and cleanliness is very essential. krishnan Wendy Vasicek <jyotish wrote: Dear Krishnan, You Wrote: >>very good suggestion to maintain:'surely find a greater sense of peace and tranquillity of mind."during the periods of trials and tribulations .<< This advice, of course, was specific for Rajesh due to F/M Saturn's aspect on Moon (lord and karaka of 4th house) and planets in 6th. Guest guest
Dear Krishnan, Thank you for the supplementary info on Hanuman. Regarding mrtyunjaya; Parashara frequently recommends mrtyunjaya japa as a (specific) remedy for obtaining relief from malefic Saturn. See Ch.52: 43-47, Ch.53: 35-38 and so on... This is totally understandable (logical) considering that mrtyunjaya japa brings relief from all kinds of physical and/or mental suffering... Is not suffering a synonym for grief? And is not Saturn the karaka for grief? Guest guest
Dear Wendyji, krishnan and others, I had discussed a chart a few months back which had Saturn and rahu in the 4th house of Leo ( Lagna being Taurus) and the lord of the 4th house ie Sun being in the 8th house. It is a coincedence that Saturn is a yogakaraka which is being discussed and the native is undergoing sadesathi as the natal moon is in Cancer with Jupiter (which is retro) in the 3rd house. Surely inspite of Saturn being yogakaraka the fact that presently it is in ashlesha nakshtra where the natal moon is the native will go through grief. The Birth details of the native are as follows, DOB - 19.12.1978, time of birth - 4.24 pm Latitude: 26N07'00" Longitude: 085E22'00" The chart was discussed for accidents and marital happiness as Sun and Mars (lord of the 7th house)is in the 8th house in mula nakshtra as well as the fact that MArs in navamsa is in the 12 th house in cancer. Guest guest
Dear Joshi, In this instance YogaKaraka Saturn, conjunct Rahu, occupies sign of Grt.En. whilst his dispositor (Sun) is conjunct 12th lord Mars in 8th... How capable, do you think, is THIS Saturn of producing auspicious results? What we have to see first and foremost is that 9th/10th lord Saturn is afflicted. Therefore one might expect some difficulties related to the affairs of these houses, wouldn't you say? At the time of accident the native was running VE-SA-JU dasa...it would be good to have a more precise date so that sookshmantar could be observed. However, at time of accident, bhukti lord Saturn in 4th house of vehicles (receiving the influence of (8th) PD lord Jupiter) was further influenced by the transit of Jupiter through 4th. Guest guest
Dear Shri Nilesh, My view however is that the native is saved of life as the dasa lord venus in D/9 is in 9th aspected by exalted saturn in 3rd with mercury. Also jupiter in 4th as lord of 5th was aspecting moon in 8th in the sign of pisces. Also from moon sign the 9th lord is jupiter (of pisces) where the venus(dasa lord gets exalted. "Saturn being yogakaraka the fact that presently it is in ashlesha nakshtra where the natal moon is the native will go through grief." The problem of accident(an unexpected )though troubled the native(may be a injury below waist) but not lead to fatality. Saturn in moon's sign in gochara and also jupiter in virgo/libra saved the native from fatality. More than the natal positions and influences such accidents redirect course of life due to ketu as pratyantar dasa lord posited in 8th from moon. krishnan Wendy Vasicek <jyotish wrote: Dear Joshi, In this instance YogaKaraka Saturn, conjunct Rahu, occupies sign of Grt.En. whilst his dispositor (Sun) is conjunct 12th lord Mars in 8th... Guest guest
Dear Wendy: Thanks for taking time in writing an elaborate response (as you always do!!, thanks a million, once again). Regarding GEM advise about Ruby (for delibitated sun in 7th house), I am going to wear yellow sapphire (next month,.. it is coming from India) and a blue sapphire (a very small piece for Saturn .. for job career, gain purposes). Tell me, if i am wrong; I cannot wear Blue sapphire with ruby and Coral. So, it is RUBY+CORAL OR BLUE Sapphire; along with yellow sapphire. I AM ALSO REQUESTING other learned members, to let me know, if wearing blue sapphire +YELLOW-sapphire could be hazardous. In that case, I would switch to RUBY+CORAL+YELLOW-SAPPHIRE combination. thanks once again.
