I understand now each animal/pet has a singular rulership, but all are

seen from 6th. I believe that is why I have Mercury and the Sun in

6th. As you said, cat (Sun) and dog (Mercury)...

I will have to study this in depth later, but it is great the insight

you give.

Though i have not studied on pet before but i will also like to add

something :

 

I find Rahu to represent snake as many time in Jamini Sutra Text slokas

stating snake bites the native if rahu is afficted by mars.

 

Ketu to represent Dogs. (Yudhishtra was accompanied by dog in his last

journey).

 

Apart from 6th house, 11th house and 4th house represent Quadrupeds animals

like cattle, buffalo,horses and elephant (may be for the means of transport

and carriages).

 

Well i am just trying.
