how to assess character - my opinion YOGAKARAKA

I was having a 2nd look at this girl's chart and I noticed Saturn, the

yogakaraka planet is aspecting her ascendant within 2 degrees...

Would it be correct to say the Ascendant is the primary significator for

character and personality and if an unaflicted yogakaraka planet aspects it,

then this is a blessing to the native?

Could this and the fact that the Ascendant itself is free from any obvious

malefic influence jusitfy why this girl has such a good nature even though her

weak planetary positions make her life so hard?

Certainly ascendant is vital to give clues but better always take position of

D/9 ascdt also and moderate.Both lagnas are aspected by benifics as well as

malefics.what is important as I find is in pushyami of saturn(in navmasa lagna)

which is considered very good is aspected by saturn
