Guest guest
Dear friends, One can download the Swiss Ephemeris at: http://www.astro.com/swisseph/?lang=e I went to the above site and downloaded a file called "swetest.exe" a DOS program to calculate planetary positions. This is nifty, but how do I convert it to Lahiri Ayanamsa? Has anybody done it? Please let me know. If somebody has any software that can generate a list of planetary positions automatically, it is also most welcome. I know that I can do it manually by entering one date after another in my software, but this is cumbersome. I can also buy a printed version Lahiri Ayanamsa, which I am planning to do. Still, a simple .TXT file on a PC with the relevent data would make searching so much easier! ~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection ~~~~~~~ Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005
Guest guest
Dear Mr. Balaji, Just download Junior Jyotish 1.9 version a freeware. ( www.jyotish tools.com) Install it. Go to view Tab. Activate it and select Ephemeris. The Ephemeris dialogue box gets activated. It has four options. It would serve your need. It helps you to some extent. I use this and it works fine for me. Regards, C.S. Ravindramani. PS: I have not completely go through your tsunami article...... I would like to read it leisurely... it is a good effort u have done it.... thanx for that.... ================================================================= jyotish-vidya, Balaji Narasimhan <sherlockbalaji> wrote: > Dear friends, > > One can download the Swiss Ephemeris at: > > http://www.astro.com/swisseph/?lang=e > > I went to the above site and downloaded a file called > "swetest.exe" a DOS program to calculate planetary positions. > This is nifty, but how do I convert it to Lahiri Ayanamsa? > > Has anybody done it?
