Hi all

One quick question :-

Incase some one has debilitated jupiter and wants to

pray for it , two fasts are told - one is satyanarayan

(purnima fast) and other is thursday fast.

What is difference between these two ?

1. Satya narayan is for vishu ji

2. thursday is for brihaspati

But what is connection between satyanaryana and

brihaspati ?

many thanks

Dear Friend,

debilitated brihspati can be overcome by showing regard to elders, teachers and

by donations like bengalgram to brahmins

Vishnu is normally to be prayed for intellect on wednes day and for brihpasti

thursday fast(one time).

satyanarayana pooja is advised when series of obstructions including sadesati

and Rahu-ketu obstructions are experienced.these are two different approaches.
