More on temporal relationships-Nilesh and all

Dear Nilesh and all...

I have been told that the planets in the neighboring three houses on

each side are friends because they are all living and supporting

each other in the same neighborhood.

I also read somewhere in a Parashara interpretation a while back

that this model of temporal relationships (Tatkälika sambandha) can

be looked at in relation to the fact that planets, like people, want

to be in the highest state, like Abhijit muhurta, at the top of

their game, i.e., at the top of the chart. If we look at all the

planets in this position in the 10th house, planets in the 5th and

9th houses away are in darkness, the 5th being in the 2nd house

(before sunrise) and the 9th being in the 6th house (after sunset).

Therefore, planets in the 5th and 9th houses away may contribute to

the planet's downfall, because they are so far away from the

limelight at the top.

In this same scheme, planets in the same house are enemies because

no king wants to share his throne with another king. Planets in the

7th house are enemies because they represent midnight, if we imagine

the planet in question to be at the midheaven/Abhijit muhurta.

But it is still somewhat confusing, I agree, why the 5/9

relationship is auspicious if the planets are temporal enemies. I

think we have to remember that the temporal relationships are of

secondary importance to the aspects.

Thanks,

Juliana
