Guest guest
Krishnan ji and Wendy ji, This is an interesting thread. Additionally, let us consider the "Maha Nakshatrams" - Magha [Ketu], Anuradha [sani], Swati [Rahu] and Mrigashirsa [Kuja] - which are supposed to remove all inauspiciousnes if one of either the boy's or the girl's Janmanahshatra is one. Ironically, all the four are owned by the most terrible malefics! The only reason for my post, Krishnan ji was because I believe that it is lordship and not the basic nature of a graha that has to be considered for their results. As Wendy ji says, Rahu Bukti can give great spiritual upliftment even if it is a materialistic and malefic planet by default. Wendy ji has also mentioned why Rahu is good in her case.In my chart, thanks to "Kodanda Rahu," which blends Guru's religiousness and Rahu's slightly foreign angle, it can lead to religiousness. I go to a temple daily. It started when a Christian friend of me told me that she goes to Church everyday! So, I was inspired to go to a temple everyday. The impacts of Rahu (foreignness) and of his dispositor Guru are felt here. Aditionally, Rahu posited in star of 5th and 12th lord Sukra also perhaps helped. Finally, as per Shani Vad Rahu, Rahu has to help me with religion because, though Sani owns the 8th, its moolatrikona falls in the 9th. ~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection ~~~~~~~ Mail - Find what you need with new enhanced search. http://info.mail./mail_250
Guest guest
Dear Balaji, You're correct regarding the statement "Rahu Vad Sani". Once again a clear example of this has been seen in my own chart. It's said that Rahu in a kendra often brings major changes in life and this has certainly been true in my life. I was born in mahadasa of Rahu (in 7th). Aquarius owns 2nd house of "family" with 1st/2nd lord Saturn in 6th house of "step-mother". Undoubtedly Rahu dasa signified a significant (major) change in regards to "family" as I was adopted at a very young age. The adoptive parents separated whilst I was still young and "step-mother" was the major influence in my life (throughout Rahu dasa) until I married in Jupiter dasa. Yes, certainly we can say; "Rahu Vad Sani". Guest guest
Dear MrBalaji, Nakshtrams have their own mystic charasteric nature. They represent the abodes into which the fruits of our labour, our karma is transferred and stored. "These are mansions of the Gods or cosmic powers and of the Rishis or sages". The root naksh means to approach, worship or attain, while "tra" is a suffix suggesting instrumentality. AS MENTIONED BY YOU "Maha Nakshatrams" - Magha [Ketu], Anuradha [sani], Swati [Rahu] and Mrigashirsa [Kuja] - which are supposed to remove all inauspiciousnes It is really surprising that Kuja is the lord for mrigasira but deity is moon and primary motivation is spirtual liberation(moksha) Like wise Magha primary motivation is Artha and deity pitris(protectors of humanity) and take swati deity is prana or vayu, nature of nakshtra is God and primary motivation is Artha. For Anuradha, deity is Radha, nature :God and primary motivation Dharma. This covers all nakshtrams.with this background i do not find any reason to consider their capabilities to:"to remove all inauspiciousnes " Nakshtras dispense the fruits of karma and is their prime value. There is lot of commonality between the constellations, the signs and the nakshtras that is worthy of explorations. In this direction you are right when you say,it might be correct "it is lordship and not the basic nature of a graha " in the context of nodes and their capabilities to contribute to positiveness of the native Lots have been said in all our four vedas about Nakshtras. and thir importnce is for their practical value in delineating cahracterstics and timing events. This what I could convey after my reading of Dennis.M.harness book of "The Nakshtras" regards krishnan Wendy Vasicek <wenvas wrote: Dear Balaji, You're correct regarding the statement "Rahu Vad Sani".
