Guest guest
Dear Learned Astrologers, I recently read a Jaimini astrology article by Jyotishi Gary Gomes in which he briefly mentions a special combination in Jaimini astrology which makes use of Saturn. The article may be found online at: <http://astrologyguild.com/jaimini.htmAs> Gary writes, "In standard Parasara astrology, the planet Saturn is often interpreted as a bringer of hardship, but in the tenth house OR when casting an aspect on the Moon, Saturn produces a phenomenal rise to power or intense charisma, respectively. Likewise, there is a really positive influence when Saturn aspects the Karakamsa sign in the Rasi. The Karakamsa sign is the sign in which the Atmakaraka planet sits in the Navamsa chart, transferred to the natal chart." Can anyone elucidate this point based on your further understanding and experience, and possibly in relation to the following example chart for a gentleman born 2/23/1951 16:25 PM, Beverly, MA, USA , DST/WT 0, Time Zone 5.00, Lat. 42 N 33, Long. 70 W 52? This native entered Saturn's Mahadasa almost 2 years ago. According the the aforementioned Jaimini yogas (all other factors being equal) he might begin experiencing "intense charisma" and a "really positive influence" as his natal Moon is associating with natal Saturn within 2 degrees in the 2nd house, and Saturn is in the Karakamsa sign in the Rasi. Thanks so much for any assistance you can offer, Juliana Swanson
Guest guest
Dear Juliana, I think it appears that what you said as under is factual: begin experiencing "intense charisma" and a "really positive influence" as his natal Moon is associating with natal Saturn within 2 degrees in the 2nd house, but; finace wise may not be and will be under pressure. In my own case I have seen saturn moon relatin and in dasa of saturb from 1999 on wards there is lot of personal glory(charishma) and regard but not really in terms of wealth.True that my rasi lord saturn in cancer has given me will to work ceselessly and add to charishma but with little pecuinary gains krishnan Thanx Juliana Swanson <omhamsa wrote: Dear Learned Astrologers, I recently read a Jaimini astrology article by Jyotishi Gary Gomes in which he briefly mentions a special combination in Jaimini astrology which makes use of Saturn. Guest guest
Dear Krishnan, You are correct that finance wise he is under pressure and not so far has he been experiencing anything positive. I guess Sani's gifts for all of us are far greater than what can be found only in the pecuniary realm. Guest guest
Namaste all, The Saturn Dasa will be difficult for the native on the material plane but will be fulfilling spiritually. Saturn is the 6th and 7th ruler making in inauspicious. Its placement in the 2nd makes ita strong Maraka. Moon is only 3 days into the dark fortnight and therefore strong. It is the 12th lord and its close conjunction with Saturn increases the maleficity of the conjunction. Generally the Moon – Saturn conjunction result in either a worried mentality or a dispassionate nature allowing the native to pursue a spritiual life and overcoming sensory attachments. The dispositor of Moon – Saturn conjuction, Mercury is positioned cuspally (and therefore weak) in the 7th house (Raman Ayanamsa). Since Jupiter and moon are in a 6/8 relationship it does not produce any positive counterbalancing force. The nodal axis is along the lagna-7th house which indicates strong karmic forces expressing during this life time of the soul. There is a close conjunction between the 9th Lord (Mars) and the 10th Lord (Venus), forming a KarmaDharmadhipathi Yoga, in the 8th house. Since the 8th house is pisces and ruled by the natural benefic Jupiter we can expect the positive spiritual transformative characteristics of the 8th house to appear. Since Venus and mars are the two planets involved the native will have to tame the serpent of baser instincts before reaching the timeless shores of spiritual peace. We can also note that Jupiter is the Atmakaraka , lending weight to the above argument. Six planets crowd into the Aquarius – Pisces segment ( Since the lagna is 2 deg in Cancer the Bhava chart shows 4 planets in Pisces and 2 in Aquarius). The Nakshatras that cover this range are all spiritualising nature. The Native's Jupiter Dasa being over, we can safely assume that significant spiritual gains have been experienced. Jupiters close association with Rahu cannot be ignored and as Rahu is in the 7th (Kendra) and is the co-owner of Aquarius. Could one assume that otherworldly influences shape the creativity and spiritual experiences of this individual ? The indicators of the Mind; i.e.; Moon and Mars (4th house lord) are in Dual signs which is conducive for spirituality. But Rahu is only 5 deg 25 min away from the 4th Lord. Venus who is extremely strong (though debilitated in Navamsa) with seven favourable vergas in Dasa Verga is a Raja Yoga Planet and representing good karma, fortune and grace (9th house characteristics). The presence of a strong Venus in this 8th house tilted the balance in favour of a positive outcome at the end of the turmoil represented by the 8th house. regards arun jyotish-vidya, "Juliana Swanson" <omhamsa> wrote: > Dear Learned Astrologers, > > I recently read a Jaimini astrology article by Jyotishi Gary Gomes in > which he briefly mentions a special combination in Jaimini astrology > which makes use of Saturn. Guest guest
Dear Arun and all, Your analysis is throrough and very accurate for this native in question. He is a worrier but in Saturn's cycle is learning to transform that tendency through mantra repitition and other spiritual discipline. Yes, it is somewhat true that "otherworldly influences shape the creativity and spiritual experiences of this individual." He is a wanderer and searcher on both the material and spiritual planes and has a great love of mother nature. He is also a highly devoted family man, and is also a great devotee of Shri Hanuman. Yes it is true that "the presence of a strong Venus in this 8th house tilted the balance in favour of a positive outcome at the end of the turmoil represented by the 8th house." The strong Venus seems to help him in many ways, such as through his true ability for unconditional love and unselfish service to his family. Thank you Arun, this has been illuminating. Best regards, Juliana
