Guest guest
Dear List, Sagittarius Rasi is called as Kodanda Rasi. If Saturn is placed in Sagittarius it is called as Kodanda Sani and so on. Malefics in a benefic rasi tend to do less mischief in its period. Of course, this is subject to other forces on the Saturn in a chart. Remember the symbolical representation of Sagittarius. Regards, C.S. Ravindramani.
Guest guest
Dear Ravindramani, Thank you for that - I have learnt something today - will try to remember that Kodanda is another name for Sagittarius. Obviously we need not look for the association with Indrachapa. Guest guest
Dear Mrs. Wendy, One of the synonyms of "Kodanda" is "Bow". The archer with a bow is the representation of sagittarius. Hence it is known as Kodanda Rasi. We all know the nature of persons who born in this rasi as lagna or moon placed in it. One of the qualities of them is fighting. Lord Rama (one of the incarnations of Lord Vishnu) is also known as "Kodanda Raman" since he carries the bow and it was his weapon. Regards, C.S. Guest guest
Dear Shri Ravindramani, Thanks for the info about sagittarus. How ever I am more interested in knowing about: In Taurus: If mars and Rahu are placed. abenific rasi but malefics placed In Cancer: venus.sun and saturn placed with saturn in parivartana yoga with moon Also if it involves vipareeta raja yoga between 6th lord placed in 8th? regards krishnan ravindramani <ravindramani wrote: Dear List, Sagittarius Rasi is called as Kodanda Rasi. Guest guest
Dear Mr. Krishnan, What I wrote is a general principle i.e. malefics in a benefic rasi tend to do less mischief. I am sure you are well aware, a chart is to be seen in its totality not based on a single parameter. >>>>>>>>In Taurus: If mars and Rahu are placed. a benific rasi but malefics placed>>>>>>>>> Supposing Taurus is lagna then Mars and Rahu, two malefics placed in tanu bhava is not desirable from the health point of view. If Mars and Rahu are influenced by another malefic then the position is becoming more alarming. One should certainly see where Venus is placed and its condition. Considering a particular area of human experience in a chart the result would certainly differ... it may be good or it may be bad.... consider Mars as 12th lord with Rahu influencing 4th house .... moving from home place.... >>>>In Cancer: venus.sun and saturn placed with saturn in parivartana yoga with moon Also if it involves vipareeta raja yoga between 6th lord placed in 8th? regards krishnan>>>>> Again it is a matter of whole chart ..... Regards, C.S. Ravindramani.
