Madhav, thanks for sharing this very interesting story. That is an

incredible statistic which I certainly believe. In the past year, by

chance, I had a series of about 10 natal charts to read for Karkata

Lagnas, possibly because Saturn was closing in by transit. Also, just

about 1 out of every 4 charts I have read in the past 3 years has been

a Jyeshta Lagna as I have in my own natal chart, many close to the

degree.

I have also discovered many similarites between Western Horary and

Tajika aspects and yogas used in Prasna. They are the same in most

cases, just using different names such as Ithasala Yoga is an applying

aspect.

In Western Horary there are Sinister (Latin-"left") and Dexter (Latin-

"right") aspects though, which I have not yet seen in Prasna. Does

Takika prasna use them? A Sinister aspect goes in the direction of the

constellations Aries to Pisces. Dexter aspects go against the flow of

the constellations. Dexter is stronger because it is made by the

faster of the two planets.

The there is the "Decumbiture," a Horary chart drawn for the moment

someone takes to his bed with an illness. This bothers me because

sometimes I get sick before I take to my bed, so I am not sure what

time to erect. Common sense tells me that it should be the moment

someone feels ill.

Best regards and thanks,

Juliana Swanson
