Guest guest
I'm having trouble understanding aspects. For example, if, say, Jupiter aspects the 11th, is it similar to Jupiter being in 11th? What if the house is empty? Or, as an example, what if Saturn is there? Will Jupiter aspecting Saturn help, and will the reverse cause problems? In short, would it be wrong to assume that "X planet aspecting Y house is almost the same as X planet being in Y house?" ===== Balaji Narasimhan, Author Visit http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm for: * Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs * The Partial Art of Detection ===== Finance Tax Center - File online. It would mean that Jupiter throws its influence onto that house, planets in the house (if any) the ruler of the house, the houses the other planets in the house (if any) rule. > > What if the house is empty? It depends on the functional status of both planets, along with many other factors. > > In short, would it be wrong to assume that "X planet aspecting Y > house is almost the same as X planet being in Y house?" I don't personally think so as there are too many cross references to be taken into consideration. Others may disagree, and I bow to them as I'm still learning myself. Flick. Guest guest
Dear all, I was wondering if someone would please explain whether trines, squares, and other aspects are valid for Jyotish too. For example, when we say there can be good or bad aspects, do we mean trines and squares, or another kind of aspects? I thought that a bad aspect would happen only when, for example, a planet like Saturn would aspect an enemy sign like Cancer or Leo, etc... Thank you for your help.
