Kapil ji,

 

Please post to the group, not to me personally.

 

Before I answer your question, let me set one thing straight -

Jyotish is the science of tendencies, and should NEVER be viewed

from the angle of absolute fatalism.

 

In this context, while I will refrain from passing judgement on

the acumen of the astrologer who told you that your wife will

commit suicide, I would definitely like to state that his

attitude to Jyotish is not right.

 

I do not like to look at issues like suicide, but since this

seems to rest heavily on your shoulders, I will consider the

chart.

 

Now, to the chart itself. The lagna is at the edge of the sign,

and has not even travelled 1 degree in Kumba, so I hope that

your time is correct!

 

In the chart, Guru is Neecha, but he gets Neecha Banga because:

 

1. He is Vakra

2. He is Uccha in Navamsa

3. Kuja, who would be Uccha in his place, is in a Kendra from

Chandra.

 

For suicide, we have to see Chandra, who represents the mind,

Budha, who represents the intelligence, and Kuja and Sani, whose

aggression and gloominess respectively can lead to suicide.

 

* Chandra: Chandra is placed in Guru's house, unafflicted, in

the star of Lagnadipati Sani, and possesses a Shadvarga

Vimshopak of 16.80, and can be pronounced to be strong.

 

* Budha: Budha is combust and conjunct Kuja, but Kuja loses some

of his malefic nature since he owns the 10th, and similarly,

Surya is also not that malefic because he owns the 7th.

Additionally, Budha is the lord of the 5th in the 5th and

possesses a Shadvarga Vimshopak of 18.65, which makes him

excedingly benefic.

 

* Lagna: Lagna and Lagnadipati are in the edge of the sign, and

this makes them weak, but the Bhava Bala of the 1st house is 8.5

rupas, and so quite strong. Sani gets Uccha Banga because he is

Vakra, and is conjunct Ketu, but both are in Guru's star, and

since Guru gets Neecha Banga in three different ways, this too

is not a problem.

 

One can also consider the 8th for suicides. The lord of this

house is in his own house, and this house is also aspected by

Guru (apart from Kuja), and this again doesn't seem to pose a

problem.

 

Again, the luck and dharma of the person can be seen from the

9th. The lord of the 9th aspects the 9th, and though is conjunct

Rahu and aspected by Sani, is unafflicted because the

conjunction and aspect are not even close. Additionally, the

9th, with a Bhava Bala of 9.1 rupas, is the strongest house, and

this too is promising.

 

Sukra's placement in the nodal asterism of Ashwini is not so

good, but from another angle, the 9th lord is in the star of the

divine Moksha Karaka Ketu. This removes the sting.

 

In the final analysis, I would say that the chances of suicide

are slim indeed! Please shower adequate love and affection on

her, and may she lead a long and fulfilling life by God's grace,

and die at a ripe old age out of natural causes!

I read your replies on jyotish-vidya . I was really

impressed by your depth of knowledge in Astro science. I would

request you to look at my wife's chart. I got married last month

 

on

10th May. My wife lost her mother when she was 7-8 years old.

Her

mother committed suicide. Someone on astro group told me that

she

and her sisters might go on the same way of suicide like her

mother.

And even her younger sisters may not get married. I was shocked

to

read that but not convinced with the same.

 

Her name is Chandni.

 

Her DOB is - 11 Jun 1985

 

Time of birth is 11.25 pm (23:25) at night

 

Place of birth: Dungarpur, Rajasthan

 

Lagna : Saturn

 

I know few things about her and have seen her chart also. I

don't

know how to interpret as I am just a beginner in astro science.

She has two younger sisters.

Her father got married again has two sons from her stepmother.

She is not so good in studies and studying arts final year in

college.

In her chart Saturn is exalted but sitting with ketu in 9th

house

but in Chalit kundali Saturn is moved to 10th house and ketu is

in

9th only.

Mercury is in its own house but sitting with Mars in 5th house,

somebody told me that Mercury is in its own house but combust so

 

not

good. I don't know how?

Her Jupiter is debilitated in 12th house but in chalit kundali,

Jupiter has moved to lagna seeing 7th house and in Navmansh

kundali

Jupiter is exalted with Venus in 10th house.

7th lord Sun is in 4th house but in chalit kundali Sun has moved

 

to

5th house with Merury and Mars.

Moon is in 2nd house and Venus with Rahu is sitting in 3rd

house.

 

 

She was engaged with someone else for last two years and just

before

one month of the wedding they asked for Dahez and his father

broke

the relationship and suddenly this offer came to my family and

my

parents accepted the same. You will be surprised to know that on

 

1st

of May I was working in office not knowing anything and 10th May

 

I

was in Shaadi Mandap. Till date she has had a very troubled and

disturbed past full of problems from her step mother and other

thing.

 

I just wanted to know about her future whatever positive or

negative. All positive things are plus but if anything is

negative

then give me some guidance to reduce the effect. Now my and my

family planets have also joined to her life so there must be

some

good effect on her life. I want to give her all happiness now

onwards. Our kundalis were also matched and the score was 28 out
