Guest guest
Dear All, Hi . I have been a passive observer of this list for sometime. I am really thankful for all the discussions which happen in this list. I am a student of jyotish, a novice I would say. I have read most books of BV Raman, also happened to meet him a couple of time in the early ninties in indian institute of world culture in bangalore. My question is regarding my chart. Sorry for being personal. I am currently in my saturn dasha, saturn bhukti and also in the last phase of my sade sati. Here is my chart. DOB : 20 - Dec- 1972 TOB: 20: 17 Place of Birth: Bangalore Ascendent: Cancer Moon: Gemini Ketu: Gemini Saturn: Taurus Jupiter: Sagitarius Sun: Sagitarius Rahu: Sagitarius Mercury: Scorpio Venus: Scorpio Mars: Libra Saturn is in my 11th house. Malefic in upachaya house. Also saturn in taurus in a friendly bhava. Also saturn is aspecting mercury and venus in the 5th. Saturn also aspects my lagna (3rd aspect). The dasha started in october 2004 and immediately my four year affair with my girl crashed causing a great deal of emotional trauma for me. Now i am on the lookout for a suitable allaiance, being unmarried at 32 I would like to know how my marriage prospects would be (saturn lord of 7th house). i have had good career growth especially in the middle and last part of Jupiter dasha. Also after the start of my sade sati in june 2000 i left a lucarative job in london and came back to india, which i regret to this day. I was also under Jupiter-moon at that time and moon my lagna lord is in the 12th. I would like to ask the learned members here as to how my saturn dasha would be. Would the 8th lordship of saturn cause any problems. One more thing after the saturn dasha has started I have started to gravitate towards yoga and meditation. Also I get up very early in the morning (unlike in my jupiter dasha) do lots of physical exercises. I have also seen this trend in my saturn sub period under jupiter. Can the learned members here kindly throw some light on these. I would be extremely grateful for your assistance in interpreting my chart. Warm Regards, Vasu
Guest guest
Dear Vasu, Just confirming (before I have to leave for an appointment) that you are the same V. Vasudev that has been participating in the Rahu debate? The two email addresses are similar i.e; vasudeva.acharya acharya.vasudeva Please do confirm as it's important for me to know who it is I'm talking to...confusion and doubt only muddles the mind :-) Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com ______________________________ Dear All, Hi . Guest guest
Dear Wendy, I am not the same person as acharya.vasudeva. It is a matter of coincidence that another person with the same name is also in this group. Acharya is my family name and Vasudeva is my name. I come from a family of vedic scholars (my grandfather whose name i share was a renowed scholar in dwaitha vedanta.). I prefer to be called vasu. I am a software professional working in a well know publishing company and have no claims on authority over many of the scriptural matters regarding astrology (I understand that my namesake is quite authoritative in his outlook towards jyotish). My aim here in this group is to participate and get a deeper understanding of jyotish through the discussions. Some of the jyotish books I have read and have in my library are Most books of BV Raman and his daughter Astrology of the seers by David Frawley Light on Life by Svaboda. Astrology books by V.K. Chowdhari BPHS by GC Sharma Astrology by ND Shrimali Surya Siddhanta - Not sure of the author - I was also intrested in the astronomy part of astrology but not had much time to study. I was planning to build an astrology software with the open source swiss ephemeris. But have left it half way. And many other books. I also plan to start studying the KP system. I would also like to add that I am in admiration of the kind of mails and intrepretations you have been doing in this group. I would request you to kindly help me in interpreting my chart. Guest guest
Dear Vasu, Thank you for clearing that up :-)) First I might comment on the fact that you find yourself drawn towards Yoga and Meditation since the onset of Saturn dasa. Saturn is enjoying mutual aspect with his dispositor Venus who occupies 5th house of spiritual practices, mantras etc. whilst also receiving the aspect of 5th lord Mars... You might like to concentrate solely on the intent of Saturn considering his meditative nature (MahaYogi) and the support given to his intentions before focusing on the rest of the chart. 1) Venus, in 5th, is dispositor of both Saturn and 5th lord Mars. 2) 3rd lord of intentions & support for intentions (Mercury) in 5th, is dispositor of lagnesh Moon and Ketu. 3) Both VE & ME, along with lagna, occupy nakshatra of Saturn himself. 4) The mutual aspect of moksha lords VE, ME & SA. 5) The maha parivartana (great) yoga formed by exchange of 4th/5th lords. This, of course, is just one side of the coin. The other is malefic Saturn's propensity for disappointments and grief through the changes (separations) he can undoubtedly thrust upon you due to his lordship of 8th...such as the ending of a four year relationship with your girlfriend. If I may I'll leave you to think on these things for awhile and perhaps you'd like to put forward your own thoughts (when you're ready) before we continue. I'm sure you're eager for other's input as well :-)) Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com ______________________________ Dear Wendy, I am not the same person as acharya.vasudeva. Guest guest
Dear Vasu, Welcome in the group. You finally have decided to actively partcipate in the group. First the heartbreak.. Actually I consider you quite a luck person as you had a 4 year long courtship. Finally it got crushed under Saturn as Saturn is aspecting your 5th house adversely.Your 5th lord is placed in 12th from it's rashi and making shadashataka(6th/8th) relationship with the dasha lord.Venus the karaka for females is your 11th lord the badhaka for your lagna and acting as functional malefic for you, moreover it is placed with 12th and 3rd lord Mercury in the house of love affairs itself.Venus is paying heavily for letting residing Mars and Saturn in it's signs. Now the Yoga and meditation.. I am inclined to believe that you might have been doing yoga and meditation in Jupiter dasha akso.It may be only like that you were not pursuing with regularity as your Jupiter is placed in 6th house, sometimes may give you lethargy, because of that probably you couldn't pursue it regularly. But I am afraid that even at this time you will do it on regular basis.Mars aspect over Saturn may have done a catalyst work but it may be shortlived.Anyway I wish that it go long and long and long. Spiritualism etc.. What I like is the cluster of planets along Rahu-Ketu axis.Lagna lord Moon is placed with moksha karaka Ketu aspected by Jupiter the karaka for wisdom.I believe that because of your past karmas you are here practising Spiritualism in it's true sense. The mutual aspect of Jupiter and Moon, your lagna and 9th lords, although in 6th house will make you an enlightened person. Marriage and Love... The 5th lord 12th from it's rashi and badly aspected by Ketu, making 6th/8th relationship with Saturn, your 7th lord.I am inclined to believe that there is no love-marriage in your case.Atleast a long courtship is ruled out and you will have a marriage on a very short notice because of Mars aspect on 7th house and 7th lord both. Thanks and more in later posts Acharya Vasudev http://www.acharyavasudev.com acharya.vasudev jyotish-vidya, "Wendy Vasicek" <wenvas@j...> wrote: > Dear Vasu, > > Thank you for clearing that up :-)) > > First I might comment on the fact that you find yourself drawn > towards Yoga and Meditation since the onset of Saturn dasa.
