Guest guest
Dear Ali Khan, Sumit and All, If I might step away from the topics raised (for the time being), I'd like to present the chart of one who, through the graces she received, is largely responsible for the joy I, and countless others, find each day in praying the Rosary. Needless to say it's a great privilege (for me) to be able to look at this chart. Unfortunately I don't have time right now to study it...hopefully tomorrow :-) Lucia dos Santos Mar 22 1907 (20:37) Aljustrel, Portugal 8W10, 37N52 (Libra rising 09°32'25") Sister Lucia (Lucia dos Santos), the last surviving visionary (of Fatima), passed away on February 13, at the age of 97, at her Carmelite convent in Coimbra, Portugal, after a long illness. Living in isolation in the cloistered convent, Sister Lucia had reportedly lost her eyesight and hearing in the months preceding her death. She was only 10 years old when the Virgin appeared to her and her two young cousins, Francisco and Jacinta Marto, on a field outside the town of Fatima, on May 13 1917. The apparitions continued through October 13 of that same year, and the seers conveyed Mary's predictions of World War II, the rise of Russian Communism, and the urgent need for the faithful to pray the Rosary. After the Fatima apparitions, and subsequent personal visions of the Virgin in 1923 and 1929, Lucia dos Santos entered religious life - first in Spain and later, in 1948, as a Carmelite in Portugal. Guest guest
Dear Mrs. Wendy, Thank you for posting this wonderful chart. It is indeed a privilege to every astrological student to study this kind of charts. Sun the Atmakaraka in the house of struggles and influencing the house of solitude. It is the clear indication what this individual soul needs to experience. Sun in the sixth house a suitable place. Moon the planet of mind and Jupiter the planet of wisdom in the house of worship and prayer. Mars placed in the house of determination and efforts supports the Sister by providing the needed stamina to achieve the goal. Mars influences the soul and mind and connecting the karma house, what is the right thing to do. (6th lord is with Moon, Sun is in 6th house and both of them are influenced by malefic Mars; it is well within the astrological rules, during the dasha of Moon, Sister lost his eye sight and the ability of hearing.) The excellent combination is the Saturn and Mercury in the 5th and influenced by the Jupiter from the 9th. See the chart from Moon and the role of Saturn in this chart. Saturn the planet of separation takes the mind of the individual away from the desire, anger and greed. What is salvation? Having control over and eradication of the said three basic elements in the human nature, is the true way of achieving the path of salvation. That is what Bhagavan Krishna says to Arjuna. The three houses i.e. 3,6,11 in a chart represent the three elements. How fantastically Saturn plays the role here that is the 9th lord of prayer in his own house with Mercury who is the 4th lord of mind and the lord of lagna. The chart is indeed an experience to study from the Jaimini angle. The AK and AMK produce a powerful Raja yoga in the 9th house from the KL ……. Regards, C.S. Ravindramani. Guest guest
Dear Ravindramani, Thank you for your comments. I had thought that this unique chart had (once again) fallen on deaf ears and/or cold hearts. It's a rare opportunity to come across the chart of such a devout soul. I think we're privileged to be able to study it...true saintly souls are few and far between and that level of sainthood should, in my opinion, transcend all religious traditions.
