Guest guest
Dear Grimlion: There are many 'signs' of spirituality and/or potentiality for 'moksha' in Jyotish or our charts. I think, however, the most important feature still resides with you! I asked a meditation teacher one time what was the most important quality for 'enlightenment' and he said.....'Desire'.... "Desire for enlightenment is the most powerful thing you can do", he said. I was very surprised by his answer, thinking that inclination, and/or perhaps one's nature would have more to do with it. But, after awhile I realized how profound this answer was/is, because we may not always be in the best circumstances or situations, but.... each and every day, we can decide to focus on our growing enlightenment or liberation. Like everything, it's really up to us. For you, having a tendency to be inward, because of the Moon & Saturn configuration, is of course helpful because it can reflect a tendency to be inward. This is very helpful for going within, transcending, and meditating, all of which are crucial for inner development. Jupiter too, is a very important 'spiritual' consideration and even though it's in the house of partnerships, in the sign of Libra, anytime Jupiter aspects either the Moon, Sun or Rising Signs, this too, can be helpful for reflecting a spiritual nature. Finally, 'moksha' or 'life' doesn't just happen to us. Our charts, even, though they do represent the particular tendencies, or qualities of fate that we're living, the most important quality,....is the 'free' will....to choose. Always remember the entire life is the product of our choice, desire to come here, to partake of these qualities, and therefore, deciding, making resolutions, aspiring to 'choose', .... in your case, 'moksha'....is up to you. Conversely, if you were to 'choose', to follow a more relative, or outer life, and not find time for meditating or spiritual development.... even though the tendencies or potential to go for spirituality was there....that too, would influence the outcomes.... So, tendencies, and choice,....both go together to reflect 'life'! hope this helps... Mark Kincaid.... ps.... and yes, ketu in the 12th... will help also.... However,....one 'other' wise Vedic scholar once told me,....."don't take your charts, like they're written in stone, they're just the state of your Physiology, at the time of birth".... I have loved this quote, because where there's generally so much belief in a kind of staticness surrounding our charts, I think it's much more likely, that our charts reflect our potentials, to grow, .....as well.....
