Guest guest
Dear Ritu and all: Think of the Navamsa as having something more to add to one's birth chart. It's used as a subsequent chart to compare to the quality and strengths of the planets in the natal, birth chart... So, if you've got a Moon in let's say Cancer, it's own Sign...and 1/2 full that means something..... We might even give your Moon like an 8!...for strong... but....let's say...it's in debilitation...in your Navamsa... so you add the strength of Moon in one and compare to the strength in the other... So...a number 8...and let's say...a 2.... might come up with a 8 divide/ 2 = 5... So... compare the 2 charts like this... But, don't forget.... the key thing...isn't how strong...it is when we were born... that is just an indication of where we're starting.... Don't forget that the Planets can be strengthened.... in our life... and that's why we've been born to improve the literal functioning of all our planets... A famous Vedic scholar said to me in 1988: "Don't take your chart as written in stone, it's just the state of physiology when you were born." hope this helps... What does this mean ? Also I have Moon and Rahu in Kanya > Lagna, Venus and Ketu in the 7th House.
