about subhadra

Respected sir,

 

 

As per my information,subhadra is shree krishna's cousin sister,sister of

the balram.and daughter of yashoda and nanda not vasudeva and devaki .It is

very famous story of "subhadra haran" Devi subhadra leter became wife of

arjuna.

 

The daughter of yashoda and nanda, which vasudeva replaced for krishna is

famously known as madhura.Who situated at madhurai in the tamil nadu and

known as madhura meenakshi devi.

 

All this is with my least knowledge

I too have the same opinion, as expressed by Mr Shanbhag. This is as per my

knowledge thru various texts and stories i read during school days and as well

the street plays arranged in northern india called as "Sri Krishna Ras Leela".

 

Although i am not sure of the name of replaced daughter .

However Subhadra was only the cousin of Sri Krishna and not that sister

(replaced daughter by Vasudev)
