Guest guest
I am a new comer to this group and I know that I have no right to monoploize any one or hope to hear anything with lightening speed but I have a vast number of problems which I was hoping to get answers to. I believe that the most hurtful part of my problem stems from the fact that all of my life I have tried to treat others as I wish to be treated and in the end I have spent the majority of my life dissappointed that this sentiment which has keept me striving to be the best human being I can be, is the very thing which allows others, those closest to me, to relentlessly hurt and betray me. It seems that a life long history of hurt has finally culminated, producing a low self-esteem, a distrust in those closest to me, and an inability to forge new friendships. I am a bit of a hermit as a result. I wonder if anyone can provide me with an analysis of my birth chart to answer some of life's questions and provide me with remedial methods of counter acting these harmful influences. I was born December 30, 1964 in Port Arthur, Texas 29n54 93w56 at 5:52pm or 17:52(which ever you prefer). Also, if it would not be too much trouble could you also tell me what profession I would be best suited for (if any). I thank you in advance for your time and help in these matters. Warmest regards, Brigette
Guest guest
Dear Brigette, I have included your chart. As you can see, three planets reside in the house of conflicts, the sixth, so they all can be strengthened. Then Ketu is there and can be propitiated with prayers or service. Aloha, Sally Being you are in your Jupiter bhukti you are seeking advice, this is good. Jupiter as well can be strengthened with the color yellow. Most importantly Ketu has been transiting your sixth house, and will soon be moving away. It will then be afflicting Venus , Mercury and the Moon. So strengthen these with their colors and propitiate Ketu, donating to spiritual causes, saints, meditation.etc. I am a new comer to this group and I know that I have no right to monoploize any one or hope to hear anything with lightening speed but I have a vast number of problems which I was hoping to get answers to. I believe that the most hurtful part of my problem stems from the fact that all of my life I have tried to treat others as I wish to be treated and in the end I have spent the majority of my life disappointed that this sentiment which has kept me striving to be the best human being I can be, is the very thing which allows others, those closest to me, to relentlessly hurt and betray me. Guest guest
Dear Brigette, I am happy to assist someone so sincere, humble and appreciative and respectful. It's refreshing to hear from someone who has learned genuine communication of an honorable nature. It may be due to your Jupiter. Although the weakness of it's dispositor Mars makes Jupiter very weak in power. So issues of fairness , courtesy morality were probably a past life issue. And now you are learning, and needing to rise above the apparent misconduct of others. Also, as a profession, Saturn is strong in the ninth of higher studies, travel. Focus on the meanings of Saturn and what that entails, it could be instructing those less fortunate in the higher laws of nature. With all the planets in the sixth, service is a high priority. Maybe working for an institution of some kind. You would take into account the nature of the planets there, Moon, nurturing, Venus women, art, and Mercury, analysis, commerce, writing. Ketu , spirituality or possibly animals. Jupiter is on the most effective point or ascendant degree in the eleventh and so Jupiter features such as law, religion, teaching are a priority. Just need to strengthen the Mars for Jupiter to gain more strength. Aloha, Sally Dear Sally, I thank you for reviewing my chart and providing me with methods of remediation. It is really a relief to learn that there is something that I can do about the situation. I look forward to writing you soon with good news as I intend to listen to your counsel. Guest guest
I am pleasantly surprised by your kind review of my chart. I am excited to find that you have mentioned fields of study which I have, for years, been intreagued by. You are right regarding my interest in teaching, I also have given consideration to studying law. I have always been quite an advocate for the underdog, those who are victimized and incapable of protecting themselves. For that reason, I have often toyed with ideas of running for political office, but I always seem to have something which comes between me and the things that I would like to accomplish. To everything there is a time and a season. Hopefully my time is drawing near. You are both gifted and knowledgable in your understanding of vedic astrology, it is a subject which you must have studied for years. I only really became aware of it after I purchased a computer. I stumbled accross web sites inwhich I learned of the most rudamentry elements of vedic astrology. I am certain that the greatest appeal regarding vedic astrology, for me, is the idea that there is something that a person can do to reduce suffering. I really know, deep down inside, that suffering is necessary. It makes us appreciate the joy that enters our lives and prunes us into the human beings that we are meant to be. Cutting away dead growth often makes us healther, though it hurts like crazy. And previously, when I was younger, I would be creatively inspired to write poetry when I encountered something so painful that it flooded my soul with tortured emotion. It was kind of like child birth. All of that pain produced something so beautiful and cathartic. For several years I studied Western Astrology. I was hoping that my knowledge of that subject would help me to make the transition over to vedic astrology, but the terminology is truly another language. So today, I set out to find a web site that would help me in learning these new terms. I located one that I am going to post in the group forum. I plan to share any information that I run across that I feel would be of help to the group. Well, I have taken up much too much of your time, but I have enjoyed corresponding with you and again I thank you for all of the information and counsel that you have kindly given me. Guest guest
----- Dear Brigette, Again, you have a way of endearing others to your plight, with your politeness, sincerity and helpfulness. And because Mars is in such infant degree, 0-5 is infancy according to the System's Approach of VA and it is the planet which owns the house Jupiter resides in, it's dispositor in other words, then your aspirations produce unfulfilled hopes. So if you use the color red in your surroundings to strengthen Mars, that will help. Thank you for your feedback on my work. I attribute my grasp of VA is due primarily to the System's Approach as propounded by Prof. VK Choudhry. Up until that time I had studied VA in various ways and came up short because of all the rules. His work has streamlined the knowledge so it then becomes accesible. In your studies I hope you get a chance to get a book by him or go to the where he teaches so brilliantly. No need to apologize for taking my time as I give it freely and by choice. Guest guest
Your insight is truly a welcomed gift. I again need to say that you have proven to be right, as most of my aspirations, up to this point at least, have proven to be nothing more than unfulfilled dreams which are really good ideas without much substance. At one point I put forth all effort to become a paralegal. I had one of the highest scores in the class. I did my internship at the Attorney General's office, and thought that I was going to be allowed to fill a vacancy which became open while there, only to find that, I would not even be a serious contender for the position. Although it was not a requirement for the position, they really wanted someone who spoke spanish so they filled the position with the receptionist who was already working at that office. I have had some college but at this point, not enough to actually fit into any one career. I guess that you could say that I have been indeavoring to fulfill my "pre-requisites". Ha. It is funny that you should tell me that red is an important color that I should work into my surroundings, as recently I had decided to try to find something with an oriental motif that has a predominant red coloring, but I have not yet found what I am looking for. I think that I will be less picky and just settle for red without the oriental motif. I do currently have a mixture of burgandy and hunter green, is burgandy a suitable substitute for red or must the color be a "solid red"? Today I will be looking into obtaining more information on Vedic Astrology books written by . I am sure that his materials are available on line. Oh, yes, there is something that I forgot to tell you about. Previously, when you reviewed my chart you also mentioned travel. In this you have yet again shown your skill as a gifted Astrologer. I have traveled quite extensively both here and abroad. As a child I traveled with my parents. I lived in Africa and Iran, and in 2000 I traveled to Turkey and took up residence there until May of 2001. Traveling is a great pleasure and adventure for me. I really love it. Currently, I reside in Texas (I would prefer to live up north where it is possible to enjoy all four seasons. Maybe one day I will, but for now we are her.) Well, I guess that I'll be going for now. Thank you again. Best Wishes, Brigette HotJobs, a service - Search Thousands of New Jobs
Guest guest
Dear Brigette, Yes, solid red only. No mixing of colors for remedies. Burgundy has blue in it, and is ruled by Saturn..The color red should be clear and bright as an astral remedy for Mars. You can email me at sara (AT) lava (DOT) net for info on how to get the Professor's books. One place is at Professor Hawthorne's site http://www.astroview.com or Professor VK Choudhry's website http://www.yournetastrologer.com.
