Guest guest
Dear Shailesh, Nice to hear that we should learn from our mistakes. I truly believe in this and always thrive to improve myself. You have mentioned that "And, if you take lagna Vimsottari dasa, which is applicable in my case, I am running Shani dasa till end of 2003." But when i look into Vimshottari Dasha(Calculated from Moon) i find Rahu/Rahu Dasha currently running. Have you given me the correct chart. Or you calculate mahadasha from some other angle and antardasha from other as i have read. Looking forward to your response. Guest guest
Dear Ashwin, What you are calculating is traditional, or lunar Vimsottari dasa, which is calculated from Moon's nakshatra. If Lagna is stronger than the moon rasi, BPHS suggests that lagna Vimsottari dasa will give more accurate results. This dasa is initiated from Lagna sphuta, or nakshatra - rest of the calculations & dasa sequence/ durations remain the same. Give it a try - it will explain a lot of events which you could not explain otherwise.
