Welcome - we all learn from each other _ i also started learning about 6 mths.

back.Everyone here posts information and you end up learning a lot.

 

I'll try and explain retro greession as PLEASE NOTE I have come to understand

it.We all know that earth rotates from west to east -the sun rises in the east

and sets in the west.Diurnal motion as weall know.Planets like the sun also

rise in the east and set in the west. but the planets also orbit around the sun

and this orbit is from west to east in vrious constellations .it is this orbit

that becomes relevant when we talk about retrogression.when earth moves around

the sun- sometimes we seem to lap (I loved this word when I was reading aboyt

retrogression)the outer planets-in our perspective thenthese planets appear to

move backwards.retogression for mars jupiter and saturn starts when earth comes

between them and the sun.This is the simplest explanation that I can think

of.I'm sure you 'll get many more informative details as we go along.I'm the

least knowledgable but still try and say something so that the members can give

more details and correct me if I'm wrong.
