Hello all. I would like to begin to ask questions on this board. I

am studying this new ( for me ) system of Astrology. I have studied

Western Style for many years and I anm now moving in a new direction

so that I can be more proficient at prediction. Best wishes and

thank you for this site.

Is the NAVAMSA Chart a progressed Chart? Thanks. Molly

Dear Molly,

no, the navamsa is not a progressed chart, ot is a divisional chart. Each

sign is divided into 9 parts, that makes 9 - 3 degree 20 minute parts. THe

first is the moveable sign of the element of the sign in question, the other

parts follow in order. for instance if a planet is in 1 degree Taurus, it

would be in the 1st part of Taurus ruled by the moveable erath sign

Caproconr. Then say another planet was in 11 degrees Taurus, it would be in

the 4th part, which would be- 1Cap, 2Aqu, 3Pis, 4ARIES.

Take Care,

Ernst
