Guest guest
Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Dear Cynthia. I would like to be quick to state that the referred website is dedicated to the Systems Approach system of Astrology, and not neccesarily Traditional Parasari Jyotish. It may be important for questions on this list to be directed towards the system one is curious about, as each system has their diversities. Example: Systems Approach barely uses the Vargas(div. charts) for anything other than reference, inwhich no aspects nor house placements are considered. This makes the system very appropriate to determine health ailments thou. Parasari(Jaimini) & Krishnamurty -Jyotish use the divisional charts in the same way as done in the Rasi chart. I'm yet unclear of Nadi Jyotish. Heres a little extra on the 16 Divisional Charts elaborated by Parasara and many others: Rasi - D16 (Rasi, D2,D3,D4,D7,D9,D10,D12,D16) shows events and ativities on the material consciosness such as career, marriage, children, etc etc. D20-D24 (D20,D24) shows events happening on the intelectual consciousness, such as spiritual achievements, and involvement in education. Using the appropriate timing of Dasa, one can see what a person is doing intelectually on day to day events, such as singing, typing, reading, etc. D27-D30 (D27,D30) shows the persons subconscious abilities and nature, sufferings from depression and alike will show up here, along with strengths of the same. D40-D60 (D40,D45,D60). Now these 3 charts go beyond what is subconcious and into what is a superconscious. D40, D45 and D60 show inherited Karma from past births which lead to manifestation in this birth. Some give clues that D-60 shows what one did in a past life. To understand the precision of these charts use the following formula: 30/n=degrees. where n is the divisional chart no. Example for D-60: 30/60=0.5 degrees. So the signs in D-60 change every ½ degree. This is approximately 2 minutes of precision. Thus we can determine the acuracay of the birth time by rectifying events from these charts. Dear SirI went to your site and quickly read the article on the newborn. I saw yourassertion that stationary positions of Rahu, Ketu, Jupiter and Saturn arevery difficult. With the serpentine motion of Rahu and Ketu, they stationevery few days so it would seem to me that 1/4 to 1/3 of the populationmight be born with them station. Also I have seen that a stationary planet is very favorable and often showsin unusual talents or abilities in the charts of individual. Is thissomething that is so difficult that the gift of the station is not worthwhat difficulty you see in it for the newborn? And, if you would not mind, would you suggest how it actually is difficult for the newborn or how theplanet is afflicted by the station placement. I have seen the stationaryplanets produce very powerful and wonderful results in the charts of adultsbut know nothing of the newborn and this.sincerelycynthia----- Original Message -----SIHA <siha (AT) vsnl (DOT) com><Vedic Astrology >Sent: Wednesday, December 13, 2000 9:47 AMRe: [Vedic Astrology] Re: How to correlate different charts?>> Hello Sharath and list members,>> Hope this finds you in the best of health and spirits.>> You can visit www.YourNetAstrologer.com> for learning about divisional charts and predictive techniques.
