Guest guest
Om Amrtesvaryai Namah!! Namaste! well, i came, i saw, and i found nobody home....too early yet for any real posts i suppose...and the two that are here are blank, kind of like my mind at the moment. As i had written on the GJ list, i am interested in the Dashas and transits which have been occurring when people met their spiritual teachers for the first time....in many cases, sofar (at least for Ammachi devotees!) i've seen that Guru (Jupiter) is transitting the Natal Sun or Lagna, or Moon; sometimes it's Shukra or Sani doing the transitting or aspecting at least oppositionally...7-7. so if any one has such data i am interested to compare notes... i am also interested in doing chart comparisons (in the compatibility mode) between people and their spiritual teachers to see if there's a connection between them...like thru Rahu or Ketu, or with the placment of the four cornerstones...relative to each other... For example, in my case, the Atmakaraka is Sani, and when one follows a technique given by (i think) Jyotish News...wherein one looks to where the Atmakaraka has gone in the Navamsha, and looks to the 12th from that Atmakaraka, one ends up in the Taurus Bhava, ruled by Shukra....So according to the technique that would make Shukra my Ishta Devata...(and i see Shukra as the Divine Mother in Her Maha Laksmi aspect.) Also one could possibly see the Oneness of Mahalaksmi (Venus) and MahaKali (Sani) thru this...as my Venus=Amma's lagna and Sani.... When i look where Shukra is in my rashi chart, i see it is in Libra, just a newborn infant, at 0deg 58minutes....and then when i compare this chart with that of my Guru, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, i see that Amma's Lagna is in Libra, and also Sani is sitting there at 3deg 45minutes (almost right on top of my Shukra!!) making a Sasa yoga in Her 1st....Thus one could take Amma, Herself to be this Ishta Devata, Who is Both Shukra and Sani...(not to mention Moon and Guru!!)the ONE Adi Parashakti, which is how i have been seeing Her all along anyways...Also Amma had given a mantra to this little one, which is often used in reference to Sri MahaLaksmi.....(although i didn't know this at first as i was so ignorant of these affairs).... Interestingly enough Shukra, because of the infancy is quite weak in my rashi chart...and needs "strengthening", indicating to me that my devotion to and reliance upon the Divine Mother has not been what itcould have been in past lives...and thus this devotional aspect needs strengthening... Also in comparing other graha placements, and the positions of Rahu and Ketu in both charts when "overlayed"...lends more strength to this idea....Amma's Moon is 5 away from my moon and lagna; Her Guru is 6 away from my lagna and moon (indicating that She's got some work to do with this lazy child of Hers...and that i'll probably take it all wrong....and resist Her work... also that i will be having to do service to the Guru!!!!...) In the Navamshas, Amma's Venus in Cancer is conjunct my Ketu, as well as both lagnas are conjunct in Taurus, my Guru and Shukra are conjunct Amma's Guru in Libra, and my Sun in Scorpio is conjunct Amma's Sani....To me these seem to all spell out a relationship between us that had been in another Life (ketu and Shukra (my Ishta Devata) conjunct in Cancer), and that is continuing today...also it would help to explain the great attraction that Amma has for this little child of Hers. i don't know if any of this theory holds water according to classical Jyotish...but i am advancing it to "test the water", and see if any one else has relevant information and experiences, and can either build on this theory or take it apart for me....either way it would be interesting to see what others think.... In the Divine Mother's Love and in Her Service i salute you bowing again and again and remaining as ever Your Own Self i am visvanathan Om Amrtesvaryai Namah!!
