Guest guest
Dear Gentlepeople: I read in one of Sanjay's books that a planet aspecting all of Hora lagna, Ghatika lagna and Lagna become a powerful rajyog giver and is called Kevala yogada. So, to elaborate more on this dictum, if Rahu is aspecting Hora lagna and Ghatika lagna by planetary (sight) aspect, will he be called a Kevala Yogada? Does this dictum have any conditions as to the malifice/benefic nature of the planet? Or, ANY planet aspecting HL and GL and Lagna or HL and GL can become a Kevala yogada? Thanks. Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Dear Mukund, The following points are to be studied to judge the strength of a planet as a yoga giver termed as Yogada: o A planet associating with the Lagna and HL or GL. o The association has to be either by rasi dristi or conjunction, ownership etc. o The dispositer of the Moon is called Shubapati. When the Shubapati associates with the Lagna it becomes a Kevala. o When the Kevala becomes a Yogada its called Kevala Maha Yogada. o A planet associating with the Lagna, HL and GL is called Maha Yogada. o More the association of the planet more powerful it’s strength or the ability to give raaj yoga. The above explains the differnce between Kevala Maha Yogada and Yogada.Any planet can become these.Grah drsiti is only the desire of the planet and Rashi dristi is what will cause the circumstances or lead to the circumstances giving the Raaj Yoga.Hence,Rasi dristi is important for the Yoga to occur. Guest guest
Dear Kanupriya: In my chart, Rahu aspects GL, HL by graha dristi and Lagna via rashi dristi so it qualifies as a Maha-Yogada. Having established that Rahu is a Maha-yogada, when will the effects of Rahu being a Maha-yogada felt? Will it be during Rahu dasa/antara? Thanks.
