You may confront peoples having concern combinations in their charts, listed by Jyotish classics, but they are not doctors/surgeons etc. So one should borne this issue in mind before predicting medical profession. Here's some addition, what Sri Partha has briefly mentioned. · Jupiter is the ruling planet for ayurveda and traditional medicine practice, apart from consultant in general. · Saturn signifies Yunani (Greek) medical practice. It also shows practitioner of chronic disease. · Rahu stands for pharmaceuticals, drugs and modern medicines. · Ketu indicates devices and machines and their knowledge used in medical sciences. · Mars indicates surgical expertise and tendency. · Venus gives healing touch. · Unafflicted Sun ensures success. · Sun+Mercury association aspected by Jupiter gives wit and sharp memory required in medical profession. · Sun or Ketu in sign of Jupiter (i.e. Sagittarius and Pisces) also yields medical skills and natural gift of healing. · Sun associated with Rahu may makes one an allopathic expert. · Moon or Lagna in Cancer may make one good nurse or gives education in biological sciences. · The influence of Sun, Mercury and Jupiter play an important role for making the individual a successful medical practitioner. · The association of Mars and Mercury may make the native well versed in medicine and drug.(Jataka Parijat) · Three important rashis concern with medical profession, medicines and hospitals, viz.; Virgo, Scorpio and Pisces respectively.
