Dear B.B.G, Namaskar

The standard list of Ishta Devatas given by Jaimini and Parasara is:

Sun - Shiva

Moon - Gouri

Mars - Kartikeya (the parampara advises Chandi as well)

Mercury - Vishnu

Jupiter - Samba Shiva

Venus - Lakshmi

Saturn - Narayan

Rähu - Durga

Ketu - Ganesh

In your Navämça AK is in Virgo. The 12th from it is occupied by 2 planets

who will dominate the choice of Ishta devata. Sun and Mars are placed here,

and Sun is stronger due to his placement in own sign. So Lord Shiva is your

Ishta Devata due to this.

Best wishes,

RE: Moksha, to Vistiji

Dear Vistiji, Namaskar

My humble request to provide a similar list of Ista

Devta(s) according to each planet to the group.

Also please advice me about my Ista Devta as in D-9

there are two planets in 12'th bhava from AK.

My case : (DOB: 6.2.1982, Calcutta, INDIA; 12.05pm)

Asc= Tauras

AK= Saturn in Virgo

In D-9,

Asc=Aries

Saturn is in also Virgo in D-9 and Sun & Mars in Leo

aspected by Jupi in Aquarius.

So who is my Ista Devta?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

B.B.G
