HOW TO COME TO NAVI MUMBAI FROM RAIL HEADS OR AIRPORT

 

The YUVA Centre at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai is set up on a 1500 square meter plot

and is a two-storey building.

Reaching the YUVA Centre

By Local Train-

The nearest railway node is Kharghar (the stop after CBD Belapur) on harbour

Railway. Out-of-town visitors arriving by western railway need to travel up to

Dadar Railway Station and then transfer to harbour railway from Kurla Railway

Station (platform No. 7). Take a train for Panvel and alight at Khargar station

and take an auto rickshaw . Ask for YUVA Centre.

a. From Chattarpati Shivaji Terminus (CST) – (Old Victoria Terminus)- There is

direct train from CST on harbour railway ( platform no. 1& 2) from CST to

Panvel.b. From Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT)- There is direct train from Tilak

Nagar Railway Station ( platform no. 1) (Walking distance from Lokmanya Tilak

Terminus) on harbour line to Panvel and alight at Kharghar Railway Station.

By road-

The centre lies just off the Mumbai-Pune Highway. Autorichshaws and taxis are

available from Kharghar and Belapur CBD railway stations. Dadar – Panvel buses

run by the state transport corporation halt at Hiranandani complex. From Thane/

Kalyan side – By road - Out-of-town visitors arriving by Central railway need to

travel up to Thane Railway Station and then Thane Panvel buses run by the state

transport corporation halt at Hiranandani Complex.

By air-

The nearest airports are the Chhatrpati Shivaji Airport at Sahar (for

international travelers and at Santa Cruz (for domestic travelers), both in

Mumbai. From Mumbai airport cabs are available. One must ensure that the taxi

has a Navi Mumbai registration.
