Guest guest
Dear Vistiji, Sorry it is difficult for me. Is argala a 'connection'/ does argala connect two houses? If so, there is often connection between the 5th and the 6th. Is this the reason why most people cannot fast? Thank you. Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Pierre-Olivier, Namaskar Well, yes. Argala gives us a better idea of how the houses are contributing to each other. i.e. 2nd house is giving argala to the lagna – just as food is eaten to sustain ourselves. Similarly the 12th house obstructs the argala of the 2nd house and hence also obstructs the lagna – just as fasting obstructs our physical growth. That is not to say that fasting isn’t good – actually its good to give the stomach a rest once in a while. So argala is a deeper meaning of the houses. As for the 5th and 6th houses – 5th house shows our personal mantra and prayer to God. 6th house is the 2nd from the 5th and is hence responsible for finding food for the 5th house. Where it finds the food is seen from the lord of the 6th house – if 6th lord is connected to the 5th house/lord then the food is taken from the 5th house itself, which makes it very difficult for the native to practice their mantras and prayers. As fasting is also considered a type of worship, it comes under this, also since 6th house is Märaka to the 12th, then 6th house can cause problems in fasting.
