Dear Branka, Namaskar

When Parasara stated that the Vimshottari

Dasa is the ‘Chief’ among Udu Dasa, he was also implying that it

could be used always.

Then the next question would naturally be;

“then why did he bother in giving the conditional dasas?”.

When you analyze each conditional dasa carefully

and their criteria for use, you will find that they actually highlight a very

particular focus or desire in our life. i.e. for ‘chaturshiti sama dasa’

the criteria is 10th lord in 10th house, which gives a

lot of focus on the career and karma yoga of the native.

So the conditional dasas revolve around a

particular desire we have, whilst vimshottari shows our general experience. Because

the conditional dasas can give us a better picture of the persons particular

focus in life, they can give us very acurate results when timing of events.

But end result is; BOTH WORK! It is only a question of viewpoint and

application when using the dasa.

As for Upapada – I personally

consider a relationship as being an Upapada depending on the intention of the

relationship – i.e. was the intention to get married, or was it just

sexual.

Best wishes,

Dear

Guru Visti,

Thank you so

much on advises regarding understanding of

upapada/marriage

questions.

Though I've

catched few doubts last few days.I thought I can use

simple

Vimsotari for timing events, but as you indicated :

As for the

Dasa, because 5 planets are in kendra to lagna, and only

3 are in

> kendra

to Moon, I would use Lagna-vimshottari.

>

- it moved

mine point of view, but I got confused when I read in one

of Sanjays

lessons on Vimsotari -that we use Ashotari dasa sistem

for persons

who have:

1)Rh in

kendra/kona to Paka lagna

2)when birth

ocure in Krishna paksha,

-since in my

case both conditions are fullfiled,I also looked for

periods in

this Dasa sistem,so my huge confusion arised-which one of

this 2

should give me more specific view?

'Cose

regarding Ashotari in period of Rahu-mars,I had expirionsed

much changes

and hard times(I was as well profesionally playing

sports)-but

to Lagna vimshotari I would be running Venus Maha

dasa,wich I

dont find so much describing that period.

So please

could you help me understand when to use which dasa sistem?

And just one

more thing about that upapada question, should UL

relationship

ALWAYS last at least 1 year?

(cose in

mine case even it describes a lot that relationship which

broke after

misscarage,it lasted just 6 months,should I consider it

as first

upapada anyway? and now deffinitly turn point of view to

second

upapada.

Please

sir,help on clearing these views.

Respectfully

Branka
